OAIRO – Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)The transition of molecules in a room by use of kinetic energy. The process utilizes the OAIRO algorithm to compute the sensory inputs from each room to adjust the HVAC plant supply temperature and flow volumes specifically to each room in order to induce the required molecular activity. The OAIRO Algorithm controls the supply and extract dampers in the room based on the required humidity and temperature allowing a precise correlation, which in turn controls the momentum of the molecule as they exit the supply grill and induces the kinetic reaction that allows them to accelerate up to 944mph when released into the room causing elastical molecular collisions and heat / coolth energy transfer from molecule to molecule (without draft or fan power).
The results:- • A perfectly molecularly mixed space with no stratification or pollutant pockets. • Molecular expansion & momentum i.e. 1m3 of chilled air at the plant becomes 1.33m3 within the room - reducing overall cooling volumes required.• Humidity control due to the molecular momentum, I.e. 1m3 of molecules with a high momentum carries less moisture.• This also means that as thermal gain attempt to enter the space via windows etc. they are repelled by the chaotic molecular motion within, this in turn forms a 25mm thermal
air blanket around the interior of the room giving it an insulation area saving yet more energy.

Case study – Theatres The Starlight Express Theatre
• The rooms are occupied by up to 1,700 audience members during the performances – This a special challenge for the ventilation system when it comes to providing good fresh air and comfortable temperatures in the spatial volume of 24,000 m3: Just under 30 performers romp around the 1,100 m² stage during every performance, skating at speeds of up to 60 km/h under 600 spotlights on the 280m-long track, which extends over three levels with a height difference of 7.5 m and passes directly through the orchestra-level seating.
• The BOSCH algorithm maintains a uniform & superior air quality throughout the entire theatre This is based on the use of temperature, CO2 and mixed-gas sensors in conjunction with the molecular and Chaotic mixing of fresh & recirculated air. This approach also prevents stuffy air and strong odours from forming. The comfort level of the audience, performers and technical personnel is improved considerably throughout the theatre.

Schools & Colleges• As well as being used for sports lessons, the hall
doubles up as a venue for school examinations during the summer, presenting two very different uses for one space; one active and one static. The BOSCH algorithm with its molecular and chaotic air distribution gives the studios a unique and beneficial atmosphere, whilst also reducing and dissipating the heat load from lighting much more efficiently.
• Despite the building being designed and built to a high specification, the college faced various issues when it came to controlling the temperature in the sports hall for different uses such as exams and activities.
• Following the implementation of the BOSCH solution it was able to achieve the same temperature set point but with a dramatically reduced fan speed. This resulted in electrical energy savings of 82% and a 50% saving in cooling energy.

Prior to the BOSCH installation occupants experienced periods of discomfort associated with the large east facing glass wall and the lack of conditioning from theoriginal mechanical air system.
As a result, down-draughts due to excessive air movement as well as periods of overheating were regularly experienced.
Case study – Deakin University, Australia
Report findingsPower - The primary savings would be in the total energy costs to produce chilled water for cooling purposes which were found to be in the order of 60% during summer conditions. Further savings are in the variable fan speed compared to one that is constant. Here again, almost 50% savings occurred over the existing system. The other important realization is that several of the existing air handling units (AHU’s), typically used to treat the space, were turned off and not required to maintain conditions during the BOSCH controlled periods.
Building envelope & Air temperature – The BOSCH system provided zero air temperature stratification within the 4.0m high space. There was no significant stratification (ΔT < 0.5C) throughout the measured cool or hot day periods in the space.
Comfort- BOSCH controlled periods appear to provide much better comfort results to the original system
Ventilation - The measured ventilation (air change rates) are in fact very reasonable within the space given the fact that fan speeds are substantially lower that those of a constant volume system
Acoustics - The original system is substantially louder than the newly controlled BOSCH system. Under the BOSCH controlled operation a maximum of 45 dBA was measured which is well within the standard. The original system is often 6-8 dB louder, even on low fan speeds.
Conclusion - Increased comfort, energy reduction, better air quality, and reduced background noise, Whilst saving 67% on the chilled water requirement and 47% less fan power.
