After 20 years in the fashion industry as a designer I saw the opportunity to carry fashion trends into homewares. The concept was born when I was shopping with friends and their children for an upcoming wedding present. We were obnoxiously ignored and asked not to touch – a light bulb went of in my head and decided why not bring shopping for homewares to the home? Oasis was born! I was right, already the business quadrupled in the last 7 years and is just getting bigger and better even in this tough economy. In actual fact our Winter catalogue this year was our most successful catalogue ever and we could hardly keep up with demand!

I just love watching our fabulous consultants not only grow their own businesses but also grow as people. I have a great working relationship with all the girls and we just become one big family with the same visions and goals.

grown even bigger!!!! By Oasis using bamboo , that is one of the world’s most sustainable materials - as it

grows twice as fast as a tree and releases 30% more oxygen into the atmosphere- we are doing our bit

to save planet Earth! We have married our fabulous designs with the beautiful traditional vietnamese

craftsmanship. We have also introduced our recycled handmade glass collection of tumblers , wine

glasses and vases - thus giving a second life to normally discarded soft drink bottles etc !!.

I have worked for Oasis for over 3 years. Before Oasis I worked in a club for 10 years where I was made redundant when the club went bankrupt. I have 3 children aged 4, 6 and 17 and I had to find a way to make an income that would fit in with my husband and the kids.

Oasis has turned out to be the best thing, career-wise, that has ever happened to me. I absolutely love the work, it’s easy, the products are gorgeous and so easy to sell. I have never had any problems getting party bookings as everyone loves Oasis so much and there are no other party plan companies out there like it.I had done a party plan about 12 years ago and the problem was that I had to order, pack and deliver everything myself. Oasis is much easier – all I do is the part I love best – the parties – Oasis does the rest!I am making more money than I have ever in my life. I have a huge team of girls and am earning an average of $1100 per week for around 20 hourswork. Wow, what an amazing three years since I joined Oasis!
