Omega 28 is a totally new and exclusive Fluoroether Synthetic Grease that
displays exemplary inertness to many chemicals, coupled with exceptionaloxidative and thermal stability - even under arduous application environments. It
will even resist hydrocarbon fuels and most solvents, while providing
exceptional lubrication qualities.
SUPERIOR QUALITIES IN-BUILT:
Omega 28 is non-toxic, stays where applied and is virtually indestructible. It is
also not combustible and is 100% resistant to oxidative degradation and most
common solvents. It is compatible with most plastics and elastomeric seal
materials at typical operating temperatures.
EXEMPLARY STABILITY:
Omega 28 is perfect for virtually any hostile operating environment, including
radiation exposure, since the advanced chemistry employed provides this in-
novative Omega grease with superior resistance and the ability to withstand the
harshest operating conditions including exposure and/or direct contact with:
• Nitrogen Tetroxide • Unsymmetrical Dimethylhydrazine• Oxygen • Turbine Fuel
• Ethyl Alcohol • Boiling Sulphuric Acid
• Aniline • Boiling Nitric Acid
• Ammonia • Molten Sodium Hydroxide
• Hydrazine • Diethylenetriamine
• Fluorine • up to 90% Hydrogen Peroxide
It is designed and engineered for critical and previously "impossible" lubricating
conditions that conventional greases cannot tolerate, such as lubricating pipe
threads for high-pressure oxygen pipes, and for seals, threads, joins and stems
used for liquids, gas and strenuous vacuum service environments.
Omega 28 features such highly stable properties that thermal degradation will
generally not take place until direct contact temperatures exceeding 500°F

33
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 33 is a special diester synthetic compound with an exceptionally high
flashpoint. Additives include the unique "Megalite" family of supplements,
ensuring extreme temperature resistance up to 315°C (600°F) - and for short
periods of exposure, beyond. Special viscosity improvers using hybridic
polymers have been developed to extend the service life of this lubricant.
Omega 33 is a revolutionary lubricant in that it is potentially the first lubricant to
utilize the capillary system of film formation. This means that the lubricant
remains stable at all times - irregardless of temperature fluctuations, which has
been the major obstacle with all ordinary greases. The high temperature
resistance of Omega 33 is nearly double that of ordinary greases.
SPECIAL TEXTURE IMPROVERS:
Omega 33 consists of fine fibre texture improvers which come from a
breakaway substance called "carbonitic black". This ensures that the texture
remains static during severe temperature operations by encapsulation in an
unbreakable, impenetrable outer skin.
APPLICATIONS:
Omega 33 is primarily a high temperature-resistant lubricant engineered for
high temperature exposure conditions. Kilns and surface baking operations,
food processing, steam pumps, babbitt bearings, tooling equipment, foundry
machines and equipment, autoclaves, chemical processing, laboratory work,
surgical sterilization equipment - there is almost no extreme temperature
condition that Omega 33 cannot handle.
RELIABILITY:
Omega 33 stays in position after application. Its unique design causes it to form
an outer heat-resistant coating while the inner lubricant continues to perform
under extreme heat conditions.
EQUIPMENT LASTS LONGER:
Using Omega 33, high temperature equipment usually lasts considerably
longer, and runs for substantially longer periods without maintenance.

35
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 35 is a highly-specialized High Temperature Stable grease that has
been engineered to continue lubricating applied parts at temperatures where
ordinary greases "carbonize" and form abrasives that damage equipment. It
consists of a synthetic, non-ash base or "carrier" agent, into which a high
concentration of super-micronized, infinitesimal fine-mesh, lubricant-grade
Megalite Solid Lubricant (MSL) is suspended.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE:
Omega 35 features a highly unique lubricating principle. Its finely-balanced
proportion of synthetic carrier and micronized MSL gives it good penetration
power, good "spreadability" and enhanced lubricating qualities.
The synthetic is designed merely to be the "carrier" of the solid lubricant, to
enable the latter to be introduced into the part(s) to be lubricated. Once the
operating temperature increases to the volatilization range of the synthetic
"carrier", it flashes off and leaves the super-fine, Megalite Solid Lubricant (MSL)
in place. The MSL remains and continues to provide unparalleled anti-friction
lubrication performance to the applied parts.
IN-BUILT SUPERIORITY:
Omega 35's MSL provides many advantages over ordinary high temperature
solid lubricants, such as molybdenum disulphide (commonly called "moly").
Moly does have high temperature qualities in the region of 700°C, but at such
temperatures oxidize to form hard, abrasive residues that can damage
equipment.
Omega 35 MSL's on the other hand, resist temperatures in excess of 2,000°C
(3,600°F), and even at temperatures in excess of 2,500°C, the MSL simply
disinte-grates into harmless carbon dioxide, leaving no dangerous particles to
contami-nate, sear and scour expensive bearing and parts.

57
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 57 is a completely water-resistant, extreme-pressure bearing lubricant
with mercurial wear-resistance characteristics. It contains specially-developed
high-impact resisting supplements. This remarkable grease solves wheel
bearing problems where heat, water and extreme conditions are present. The
unique Omega Megalite supplements incorporated into Omega 57 ensure
longer service life since equipment on which it is used will operate under
considerably cooler conditions, thereby providing a new dimension in downtime
prevention.
COHESIVE QUALITIES:
Omega 57 has the ability to resist even the most severe conditions and will not
break down or disintegrate as ordinary greases will. Omega 57 will not alter or
soften in wheel-bearing applications due to its resistance to high temperature.
APPLICATIONS:
Wheel bearing loads are concentrated in small areas. The points of greatest
pressure are considered to be either the cone bearings or ball bearings. Water
attack causes the greatest damage. Omega 57 resists water and, as a result,
protects bearings from oxidation.
PRESSURE PERFECT:
Omega 57 is capable of resisting severe and continuous impact. This
characteristic of the lubricant enables it to prevent wear and to allow the
bearings to function (as they were designed to function) -without hindrance.
EXCELLENT SHEAR STRENGTH:
Omega 57 has excellent shear stability and very low separation. This almost
unique quality provides the tenacity essential for the protection of hard wearing
bearings.

PURITY STANDARDS:
Omega 58 is considered by many maintenance engineers as "the" universal food-
contact lubricant. It is edible and also biodegradable! Omega 58 withstands severe
waterwash (ASTM D1264) and does not alter under extreme temperature
fluctuations. Its versatility provides the answer to the many current industrial
equipment problems in the food and beverage industries.
APPLICATIONS:
Omega 58 can be used in every industry where lubricant contact with food is likely
to cause contamination problems. Omega 58 is applied to Steam Bottle Washing
Plants, Hospitals, Veterinary Services, Wineries, Vegetable Sorting and Processing
Industries, Fruit Packing Equipment, Restaurants and Hotels, where edible and
health material is produced for eventual consumption.
Omega 58 is also ideal for abattoir and poultry handling systems.
OMEGA 58 has the USDA HI (formerly known as AA) rating. All ingredientsused in Omega 58 meet the requirements of Section 21 CFR 178.3570 of the
U.S. Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 59 is a sophisticated, pre-stabilized CS (Central System) lubricant. It
can be applied both manually and automatically. It provides the essential high
standard of long-distance pumpability demanded by CS-user industries.
Pumping distances of up to 1,100 m. (3,600 ft.) without booster pumps have
been achieved.
SPECIAL THICKNESS:
Omega 59 contains special temperature-resistant thickeners. These
supplements provide the level of stability required for long-distance lubrication.
Precise quantities of centrinitic demaskers ensure total surface protection on
metal-to-metal contact areas.
OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY:
Omega 59 actually promotes, through highly developed ionic inclusions, a long-
term high-speed equipment efficiency in Central Systems. Contaminants are
kept out and corrosion and oxidation are kept to a minimum.
UNIQUE CAPABILITY:
Omega 59 has a marked capacity to penetrate and permeate exceedingly
difficult lubricant areas. A 7% concentration of specially-developed gellants
provide the means with which to retain its loose characteristics. This capability
is brought about by the inclusion of organo-montmorillonite (also known as
"Monite") which promotes a 'plating' action, forming a liquid-wedge preventing
metal-to-metal contact and resultant wear.
APPLICATION:
Omega 59 can be used in any and all CS equipment. It can be applied manually
or automatically.

64
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 64 is a scientifically-developed, ultra-tacky, heavy-duty and tenacious
lubricant. Its aim is the ultimate in lubrication protection for track roller, pin and
bushing systems.
BUILT TO RESIST CONTAMINATION:
Track roller systems are invariably used in areas where abnormal dust, dirt, grit
and similar conditions prevail. Ordinary greases adopted for track roller systems
readily absorb dust, dirt and grit. This rapidly forms an abrasive mixture that
causes premature wear. Omega 64 however, has built-in 'self healing qualities'that actually form an outer shell after application. This keeps dust, dirt, grit and
other contaminants out.
OXIDATION RESISTANCE:
Omega 64 has special oxidation inhibitive qualities that resist oxidation.
Ordinary greases used for track roller systems easily squeeze out, leaving the
vital metal surfaces exposed to oxidation. Oxidation is the forerunner of
cancerous corrosion and its resultant downtime.
ESPECIALLY BUILT FOR TRACK ROLLER SYSTEMS:
Omega 64 has built-in elasticity that provides the stretchability necessary for
track roller system lubrication. It contains lubrimyostic elastomers that form
millions of long-strand films. These fine films perform the essential job of stress
curve lu-brication during track roller link-up chain movement.
EXTREME PRESSURE:
Omega 64 is loaded with extreme-pressure supplements that resist-

Magna Industrial reserves the right to modify or change this product for OPIM64-1 Version 1.0 Revision 1.0 Rev. Date: 1 October, 1996 Reference: RECpurposes of improving its performance characteristics.
RESISTS SQUEEZE-OUT:
Omega 64 stays in position after application. Ordinary greases form large periphery
deposits that absorb contaminants and eventually break loose and damage the
system. Omega 64 retains its NLGI 00 texture and will not squeeze out. It forms an
even, balanced lubricant layer of 'bearings' between frictional faces.
TEMPERATURE-STABLE:
Omega 64 retains its texture at both high and low temperatures. At high
temperature, ordinary greases thin out, become liquid and drip off the surfaces
intended for lubrication. At cold temperatures, most greases become hard and
solidify making lubrication impossible and, during the solidifying process, cause
extreme drag and thereby waste energy.

65
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 65 is a 'premier' lubricant especially designed for ultra long-termpreservation of today's chains, cables and wire ropes.
Omega 65 contains a precise percentage of high-contrast fluorinated polymers
in the form of methacrylates. These special supplements provide critical and
essential boundary formation that stops creep or squeeze-out. It has an avid
affinity for metal. This attraction provides the interfacial tenacity to prevent
squeeze-out at even the most critical CDAP (Change Direction Apex Point). It is
a well-known fact that 90% of all manufactured lubricants used on chains,
cables and wire ropes squeeze out during the first hours of service!
HIGH PURITY:
Omega 65 is a high-purity lubricant that provides a new dimension to
penetration quality requirements. This special aspect ensures that cables, wire
ropes and chains become completely saturated. This promotes a state of
equipment self-lubrication!
RELIABILITY:
Ordinary lubricants rapidly evaporate, even in mild climatic conditions. This
leaves equipment susceptible to oxidation, corrosion, rust, rigidity, and
eventually failure. Since equipment life depends on the long-term reliability of
chains, cables and wire ropes, their failure can cause untold damage.

PROTECTION:
Omega 65 provides exceptional long-term protection for the following: -
Anchor Chains Disc Couplings Multiple Strand RopesBall Mills Elevators Roller ChainsBlock & Jaw Coupling Enclosed Malleable Iron chains
Sling Chains Closed End Chains Hoist ChainsConveyor Chains Marine Equipment Transmission ChainsCrane Cables Mine Head equipment 6 x 7 Strand RopesDetachable Link Chains Mobile Lifts 6 x 19 Warrington Ropes
TENACITY:
Omega 65's protection extends to both reduced motion and high-speed
equipment because Omega 65 has multiple surface tenacity that will not fling
off. Ordinary lubricants -often supplied as chain, wire rope or cable lubricants -
rapidly lose strength and decrease equipment flexibility. This promotes surface
breakdown and rapid failure. Even the initial lubrication which is incorporatedduring manufacture seeps out or dries up. This is often caused by low grade or
inadequate film strength, lack of correct adhesiveness, dropping out (which also
leaves the equipment prone to corrosion and oxidation) and sensitivity to
climatic alterations.
Omega 65 meets and exceeds the requirements of all chain, wire rope and
cable manufacturers including ‘Oil-Rite Corp'.

NOTE:
Omega 66 is the lubricant preferred by nearly every efficient military or
other quality/efficiency conscious organization in the world. Its super high
performance and wide operating temperature range, plus its relatively
high flash point provide essentially superior performance in all types of
equipment and especially medium to high speed bearings, such as
electric motors and automated or robotics equipment and machinery!
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 66 is an ultra-low temperature lubricant with outstanding benefits for
both military and high technology industrial applications.
WILL NO HARDEN:
Omega 66 will not congeal or harden during severe freeze-ups. It retains its
NLGI 2 rating even at the lowest temperatures. This aspect ensures moving
parts are protected and lubricated at all times and especially at start-up in
moderate to cold climates. Ordinary lubricants harden and form energy
consuming ‘drag' on moving parts.
HIGH LUBRICITY:
Omega 66 has a smooth, soft texture and forms the essential hydrodynamic
"liquid-wedge" between frictional surfaces. It promotes efficient operation and
lessens wear and tear.
WATER-RESISTANT:
Omega 66 is water and waterwash resistant. It also resists the tendencies found

in ordinary greases to form rust-prone areas where melting snow or ice contract
metal surfaces and lift away the protecting grease coating. Omega 66 remains
in place and protects all applied surfaces. Similarly, in high speed bearings, the
tenacity of Omega 66 ensures applied surfaces remain protected and lubricated
despite centrifugal forces which fling off ordinary greases.
CENTRALIZED SYSTEMS:
Omega 66 works well in centralized lubrication systems and remains stable,
regardless of temperature fluctuations.
SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTS:
Omega 66 contains, among other materials -a formation of dibasic esters and
polyphenyl ethers in conjunction with fine micronized silica. This highly
developed combination provides the essential 'twin-end' temperature stability
desirable in low temperature applications. Ordinary greases become solid at low
temperatures and form hard, abrasive ‘flows' that claw the metal surface. This
results in severe wear and rapid seizure. In ultra-cold climates, equipment
failure is not only hazardous to life, but is also extremely difficult to rectify.
Omega 66 is also specially suited to bearing applications due to its good "stay
put" qualities. It is suitable for most high speed bearings, for example, a 10mm
(internal diameter) bearing set operating at 25,000 to 30,000 rpm. or a 20mm
bearing at 12,500-15,000 rpm or even a 30mm bearing operating at 8,500 to
10,000 rpm.
Omega 66 meets Military Specification: MIL-G-10924D (Qualification of military
specification documented under code M 7628)

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 71 is a stable drop point grease with a resistance to temperatures of up
to 260°C (500°F)! Ordinary greases have unstable drop points because they
conform to the "soap" type greases, which deteriorate rapidly under high heat
conditions. Omega 71 however, contains solid and highly-micronized
supplements that are impossible to melt-providing a "carrier" for the mineral oil.
As carrier, they ensure that Omega 71 remains stable up to -and including -the
drop point of beyond 260°C (500°F). Ordinary greases cannot cope with
temperature changes and begin to melt at a temperature well below 260°C(500°F).
LUBRICITY:
Omega 71 is much more than just a temperature-resistant lubricant. It also
provides exceptional lubricity that retards wear and prolongs equipment life.
SUPPLEMENT PROTECTION:
Omega 71 contains a solid supplement. This consists of montmorillonite
particles which form a bearing between metal surfaces that will not break down
-even under extreme temperatures! Ordinary greases cannot provide this
"barrier" and subsequently, the grease rapidly disintegrates.
THERMO HYDRODYNAMIC LUBRICATION:
Omega 71 provides maximum protection for a wide variety of equipment. This ismade possible by the development of a hydrodynamic concept in Omega 71,
whereby a "wedge" is formed between areas subjected to constant wear. This
wedge resists not only the evaporative tendency of the heat cycle but also the
immense friction barrier caused by heat and pressure formations. The ability of
Omega 71 to suppress this natural force of lubricant migration is an outstanding
feature unique to the Omega family.
Ordinary grease being utilized for high temperature applications rapidly break

down and leave the wear areas unprotected. This promotes metal-to-metal
contact which, in turn, causes wear -and shortly thereafter, complete and total
parts seizure. Additionally, ordinary greases are inconsistent and need constant
replenishment. Their unreliable tendency to become fluid and fling off has
hazardous effects on the equipment and its maintenance.

NOTE:
The criteria of a good gear lubricant is based on its ability to separate the
loading from one pair of gears to another in a multiple gear set. All
frictional Surfaces within any one gear system - including the gear shaft
bearings -are lubricated from one common source. If severe wear and its
resulting downtime is to be avoided - no lubricant compromise can be
made.
Omega 73 is a specially developed open gear lubricant designed to
provide multiple protection to the gear system -without compromise!
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 73 is a special, weather-resistant open gear lubricant that clings
tenaciously in position regardless of wind, rain, sleet, snow, sun, dust storms
and other climatic phenomena. It provides the additional protection needed for
gears and gear systems that ordinary gear greases fail to provide. Ordinary
greases rapidly develop into collective deposits that harden and cause frictional-
drag and excessive energy consumption. Omega 73 remains in position and
keeps the system and the gears in silent mesh.
CAPILLARY ACTION:
Omega 73 has a capillary action that spreads over metal surfaces and into wear
areas. This action prevents or reduces: -
wiping scuffing galling rippling
sliding pitting scoring clawing
These wear aspects are common with the use of ordinary greases.

HYDRODYNAMIC STABILITY:
Omega 73 provides a hydrodynamic "liquid wedge" between gear wear areas.
This ‘bed' of highly micronized bearings provide minimum friction for
intermeshing teeth and shafts.
Ordinary lubricant deposits build up and rapidly develop into hard spots that
score, gel, gall or claw metal surfaces.
TEXTURE RETENTION:
Unlike ordinary greases that easily harden, Omega 73 retains its original soft
NLGI 2 texture. Ordinary greases thin down and squeeze out, even under slight
temperature increases. Omega 73 retains its texture and stays in position. Itseals out the dust that causes wear in locations where just such conditions
prevail: -
Construction Mining Stone Quarries
Dam Building Farms Land Reclamation
EXTREME-PRESSURE RESISTANCE:
Omega 73 is loaded with special heavy-duty extreme pressure supplements. These resist:-
Shock Loading Pressure
Meshing Brake seizure Ratio alterations
Squeeze-out Start-up pressure
CLIMATICALLY STABLE:
Ordinary greases are unable to resist the "Rate of slide relative to pressure" ingear mechanism applications. This causes the grease to squeeze out, leaving
the metal surfaces exposed to corrosion, oxidation and metal-to-metal wear.
Omega 73 has an affinity for metal and clings to the surface!

DESCRIPTION:
Omega 77 is a sophisticated, impact-resistant, chassis and bearing lubricant. It
provides an exceptional standard of lubrication no the endless variety of
mechanical equipment in use today. This results in dramatically reduced
inventories, downtime and maintenance cost.
FUNCTIONS:
Omega 77 resists squeeze-out and thinning. Bearings must provide the support
and constraint to a moving link of kinematic chains or mechanisms. The prime
objective is to retain complete lubricant coverage and yet still provide maximum
mechanical freedom. Ordinary greases are unable to withstand the everyday
pressures of bearings and, subsequently, disintegrate rapidly leaving prime
support areas in direct, metal-to-metal contact!
COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH:
Omega 77 possesses almost infinite strength to support maximum loads
without rupturing, disintegrating, crumbling or crushing. Its development
ensures that minute spheres of active hologramaphethetics actually serve as
molecular bearings to keep frictional surfaces apart.
CONFORMITY:
Omega 77 has constant conformity. This aspect provides the essential texture
for precision applications and the necessary allowance for possible surface
deformity in the bearing. This ensures that alignment remains constant.
LOW CO-EFFICIENCY OF FRICTION:
Omega 77 provides excellent reduction of friction between journal and bearing.

This results in considerably lower energy consumption and wear - especially
during the critical start-up period.
LOW THERMAL EXPANSION:
Omega 77 does NOT expand or contract as a result of temperature or climatic
changes. Ordinary greases not only expand, but often form small hard
congellants that rapidly transform into diamond hard abrasives. This causes
heavy bearing drag which overloads equipment and increases the frictional
energy requirements.
HIGH THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY AND ABSORPTION:
Omega 77 rapidly absorbs and dissipates heat. Frictional heat can have a
marked effect on the running efficiency of the equipment. Ordinary greases tend
to burn-up and this enables ‘hot-spots' to form. These develop into irreparable
wear areas.
CAPILLARY TENDENCIES:
Omega 77 has active supplements that ensure total surface coverage.
CORROSION RESISTANCE:
Omega 77 is resistant to the acids formed by "mixed-greases" previously used
in the equipment. Omega 77 is also resistant to acids formed by contaminants.
ELASTICITY:
Ordinary greases tend to lubricate only those areas where they can be applied.
This results in large areas, without lubrication, being subjected to damaging
contact and eventual seizure! Omega 77 has a spreading ability that ensures
ALL potential wear areas are covered.

79
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 79 Spindle Lubricant gives high-speed textile machinery maximum
lubrication with minimum maintenance. Omega 79 overcomes problem
lubrication under harsh working conditions found in textile mill machinery.
Omega 79 provides superior lubrication that helps retard machine breakdown
and reduces frequent stoppages for reapplication.
SPECIAL SELECTED ADDITIVES:
Omega is formulated from top quality base oils and ultra high-performance
additives to provide these features:
Pure White Formulation:
The structurally-pure, high-performance additives are non-staining and non-
contaminating and resist discoloring fabrics. In the event Omega 79 comes into
contact with fabrics during production (e.g., during a mechanical malfunction or
careless application), dyeing the fabric with a darker color is unnecessary.
Tenacious "Stay-Put" Qualities:
During the process of dyeing textiles, the hot water and steam washes off
ordinary greases. This encourages machine breakdowns and inefficient
equipment operation. Insufficient lubrication leads to expensive production
stoppages, lost man-hours and increased losses. Omega 79 contains special
additives that resist washout to provide efficient lubrication without wash out,
squeeze out, bleeding or thinning.
High Temperature Flexibility:
High-production, high-speed textile machinery goes through various stages of
temperature change. Omega 79 is engineered to withstand wide temperature
fluctuations. This wide temperature stability of Omega 79, coupled with special
rust and oxidation inhibitors, ensure unparalleled lubrication.

Energy Saving:
Omega 79's low drag qualities help spindle machines work faster without any
increase in electrical power usage. Greater production is possible without extra
production costs. Omega 79 can actually reduce energy requirements.

ENHANCED CAPABILITIES
New and improved Omega 95 now provides still higher water wash resistance
and immersed lubrication performance from its "higher density than water"
characteristics. Not only is improved Omega 95 extremely capable at higher
temperatures, it will also perform superbly even at lower temperatures as low as
-23°C (or -10°F) or near-arctic conditions !!! Omega 95 also contains absolutely
no heavy metals, harmful or environmentally undesirable additives which makes
this lubricant suitable for the lubrication of reservoir sluice gates and
mechanisms, for freshwater lake and canal equipment, etc.
Due to the enhanced purity performance with this all-new Omega 95formulation, the traditional applications of lubricating shipboard equipment and
dockside equipment -including dry-dock and ship repair/building equipment can
be expanded to include steam cleaning equipment used in bottling plants,
abattoirs, etc., where wet conditions are combined with high heat and
pressurized water wash.
Omega 95 works perfectly in anti-friction bearings, both low and high speed
ordinary bearings, for lubricating conveyors and for a large variety of
construction, irrigation and agricultural equipment lubrication, where wet
conditions are often encountered.

99
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 99 is an acid-resistant, water-proof, alkali-proof, high heat resistant,
metal preserving lubricant. It prevents metal seizure and enhances the ease
with which equipment can be efficiently dismantled for maintenance purposes.
THREAD LUBRICANT:
Omega 99 is also an advanced thread lubricant that forms a life-long protection
shield against oxidation and its cancerous, corrosive results.
RELEASE ACTION:
Omega 99 contains active zygotes that dissolve any existing formations of
corrosion and rust, leaving the metal surface as good as new. It can be used as
a releasing agent for corrosively-interlocked parts, components and fasteners.
MICRONIZED METALS:
Omega 99 contains highly micronized metals that fill in pitted, corroded areas.
This action is not only one of protection, but also one of repair to the metal
surface.
MAGNETIFERROUS INGREDIENTS:
Omega 99 contains active synergistic ferrous diesenitics in tandem with a chain
formation from the hydrocarbonacious material. These become highly active
when brought into contact with the molecular formation of oxides (which form
corrosion and rust). A rapid disintegration action takes place, whereby the
oxides are rendered neutral and dissolve. This in turn forms harmless hydrogen
oxides which are partly evaporated and partly floated away, leaving the metal
surface sterile and free from corrosion.
STRONG PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
Omega 99 provides long-term protection and dismantling ease because it

dissolves the interlocking problems caused by oxidation. It forms a fine, tough
lubricant film that shields the metal below.
Ordinary solvents used for releasing, often do considerably more damage to the
parts, components and the surrounding areas, than they do releasing the
interlock. Omega 99 is completely harmless and will not damage or corrode
surrounds and intricate components locked into the trouble area.
NON-TOXIC:
Omega 99 in non-toxic and can be used in both open and confined spaces.
LONG-TERM PROTECTION:
Omega 99 provides long-term protection that will not wash away or evaporate
over extended periods.
PENETRABILITY:
Omega 99 has unparalleled penetration capabilities. Not only does it get down
under heavy corrosive areas and release interlocked parts, but it also
penetrates the fine pores in the metal surfaces and lifts the secondary corrosion
formations, thereby ensuring that rust is inhibited and seizure of parts is brought
to a halt.
EASE OF APPLICATION:
Omega 99 can be used on almost all areas. It releases and protects nuts, bolts,
studs, gaskets, washers, plugs, tube connections, steam pipes and fluid
carriers.
APPLICATION:
Ideally Omega 99 should be used on all components and parts BEFORE the
cancer of rust sets in, especially on such applications as conveyers, carriers,
generators, scaffolding, lift erector cranes and hoists, cable joints, studs,
turbines and crankpins, bearings and tracers, cams and lifter, joints and fittings
and similar corrosion-prone apparatus.

99N
DESCRIPTION:
Omega 99N is a "Nuclear Grade" Anti-Seize Compound that is possibly the
finest quality nickel-based anti-seize available. It is 100% lead and sulphur-free
and also contains absolutely no chlorides.
PROTECTS EXPENSIVE STAINLESS & HIGH NICKEL ALLOYS:
Stainless and high nickel fittings are highly susceptible to corrosion by chlorines
and sulphur. The sulphur causes the weakening of welds made on nickel alloys
and the chlorides cause corrosion cracking and pitting of stainless.
"NUCLEAR GRADE":
Ordinary anti-seize products contain between 200 to 300 p.p.m. of the
potentially-dangerous contaminates sulphur and chlorides, while most of the
advanced countries recommend an allowable limit of between 50 p.p.m. for
chlorine and 100 p.p.m. for sulphur for any anti-seize used in nuclear plants.
Omega 99N is 100% sulphur and chloride free and is recommended for atomic-
powered generating plants.
TOTALLY HOMOGENOUS -NO SETTLING PROBLEMS:
With ordinary anti-seize products, the product is often only a suspension agent,
such as gelling agent, and powdered metal. These cheap products suffer from
serious separation problems. When separation takes place and the product is
applied to fittings, the metal powder is unevenly distributed through the fitted
joints, resulting in increased risk of failure.
Omega 99N uses a unique and proprietary mixing process that keeps the fine-
mesh nickel particulates in virtually perpetual suspension and finely dispersed
within the carrier base oil. This prevents "hit and miss" protection for treated
threaded parts.

Magna Industrial reserves the right to modify or change this product for OPIM99N-2 Version 1.0 Revision 1.0 Rev. Date: 1 October, 1996 Reference: RECpurposes of improving its performance characteristics.
SUPERIOR PROTECTION:
Omega 99N protects all types of threaded assemblies, press fits and fittings,
and retains its corrosion preventing properties from (Minus) -180°C (-292°F) all
the way up to 1,260°C (2,300°F), without breakdown.
Omega 99N prevents metal-to-metal seizure -if parts are coated prior to
assembly-and will withstand acids, alkalis, water, salt air atmosphere and most
chemical fumes. Omega 99N is simply brushed into the parts to be treated, and
because of its super micronized metal composition, will not affect the clearance
of the joint or cause difficult tightening.
WHERE TO USE:
Omega 99N is the perfect solution for anti-seize applications in nuclear power
plants and also plant and equipment using stainless steel and nickel alloy
fasteners, such as oil, chemical and natural gas refineries, chemical plants,
paper and pulp mills, waste disposal plants, water & saline treatment plants,
steam plants, marine applications, on ships, etc.
It can be used for both stationary equipment and for mobile applications, such
as cars, jet engines, trucks, buses, diesel gen-sets, mobile cranes, etc.

Ebony Fine
DESCRIPTION:
Omega Ebony Fine is a “sovereign” engine oil developed from a combination of
petro-scientific expertise, advanced engineering know-how, advanced
lubrication technology –and ten years of meticulous and exhaustive testing! It is
a superior engine oil engineered for spark (ignition) engines. Omega Ebony
Fine provides unbeatable economy and incomparable protection… the
combination that makes it an engine oil without equal.
SUB-SURFACE LUBRICATION:
Omega Ebony Fine conforms to such advanced standards that it will transform
the frictional contact-areas of the equipment into self-alloying, sub-surface
lubricating areas. The dynamic separation takes place as a direct result of the
highly micronised supplements being of such incredibly small dimensions that
actual metal surface penetration takes place! On the contrary, ordinary engine
oils merely sit on top of the metal surface, causing the frictional parts, when in
contact, to compress and crush the oil. However, Ebony Fine penetrates the
surface, fills in the natural machine-finish asperities, and then forms a self-
plating action that provides the “bed” over which the base oil “bearings” can
convert the friction movement into a soft, silent glide!
MICRONIZATION:
Omega Ebony Fine contains a completely new type of Molybdenum Disulfide.
This MoS2 is totally different in structure and formation from ordinary “Moly”.
Omega MoS2 is essentially a highly fractionated particle that is so small as to be
comparable with a single molecule of cigarette smoke! This specially developed
Omega supplement does much of the direct metal surface penetration work.
QUALITY BASE STOCKS:
Ordinary oils are manufactured from a mixture of any of the world’s vastly
different types of crude oils. The scientific data of some of their contaminants
are well-known.

Much current research is only now discovering hundreds of other new
contaminants that are considered potential causes for engine failure, wear, gum
formation, varnishing sludge, pitting and internal acid oxidation!
Omega Ebony Fine however, is manufactured from the finest base stocks
available – Mid-Continent and Pennsylvania crude. The world’s petro engineers,
lubricant scientists, engineering technologists and major transportation bodies
all agree that Mid-Continent and Pennsylvania (USA) base stocks are the last of
a very rare quality of base stocks. They are much purer, stronger and more
lubricious that ordinary base stocks. They longer, work harder and provide that
essential lubrication needed for improved performance and long-term
protection. These are the base stocks and the ONLY base stocks used for
OMEGA EBONY FINE.
The natural state of Omega Ebony Fine is impossible to duplicate.
SUSPENSION:
One of the many aspects of ordinary engine oils that few users ever consider (or
know about) is their inability to “hold” their additives in the container in a
consistent pattern of conformity. In many ordinary oils, the additives “SINK” to
the bottom of the container. When used, the top half becomes a thin, weak and
easily overheated fluid that barely reaches the level of an oil, and the bottom is
so thick that a layer of heavy sludge is rapidly formed causing abrasion and
thereby equipment breakdown and wear.
Omega Ebony Fine has developed a new dimension to supplement buoyancy
with the inclusion of a specially-developed suspension agent. This “suspension
agent” works efficiently; it not only remains neutral in the lubricant, but also
holds the billions of highly micronized supplements in a perpetual state of
perfect pattern buoyancy – forever! When Ebony Fine is poured into an engine,
the “suspension agent” also goes in, ensuring the conformity of the additives.
IMPROVED FUEL ECONOMY:
Ordinary oil is distinguished from quality oil in that it forms a friction resistance.
Any friction resistance requires greater energy and any additional energy
requires more fuel consumption than a friction-improved quality oil. Ordinary

engine oils are not only sluggish, but as a result of their “mixed” formation, are
also prone to form sludge deposits that retard engine performance and increase
fuel consumption dramatically. On the contrary, Omega Ebony Fine being a
“sovereign” engine oil, decreases friction and therefore reduces fuel
consumption by as much as 13%.
REDUCED FRICTION MEANS REDUCED WEAR
Since Omega Ebony Fine promotes lubricity, the friction areas are protected for
a longer time, are able to run cooler and are kept apart by a hydro-dynamic form
of lubrication. This means that regardless of compression or directional
movement, both or all contact areas are protected by the “bearing bed” of
Omega Ebony Fine!
INTERFACIAL SUPPLEMENTARY POLARIZATION STRENGTH:
The pole strength…… as represented by the MKS (Maxwell’s) System… is a
