    3. Physical Standard (a) Height - Minimum height of candidates falling in thecategories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras. Marathas and candidatesbelonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura,Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & La dakh regions of J&K will be 165 cms. The minimum height for all candidates belonging to ScheduledTribes will be 162.5 cms. (b) Chest - The minimum chest of candidates falling inthe categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis. Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidatesbelonging to the states of Sikkim. Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura,Mizoram, Meghaiaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions ofJ&K will be 78 cms. (minimum 5 cms expansion). The minimum chest for allcandidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes will be 76 cms (minimum 5 cms expansion)(c) Others - 170 cms (Height), 80-85 cms (Chest), Weight according to height and

    age. 4. Physical Efficiency Test (a) 5 Km run - Candidates to qualify within 24minutes. (b) 11 ft long jump - Candidates to qualify in min 3 chances. (c) 3 1/2ft high jump - Candidates to qualify in min 3 chances. (d) No physical efficiencytest will be held for Ex-servicemen.However Ex-servicemen will be required to passthe requisite med examination. 5. Written Test - The written test will consist ofonly OMR based objective type multiple choice questions to be answered using apen. The question paper should be of 100 marks. 6. Pay Scale - Pay scale and otherallowance will be as admissible to Central Para Military Forces. 7. Merit List andCall up for Training - The candidates who qualify in all respects will be placedin merit list depending upon the vacancies available Call-up instruction to jointhe Training Centre for enrolment will be issued on the basis of Merit List. 8.How to Apply - The rally will be conducted through new application system.Candidates shall forward their applications as per the following format given at

(b) From experience it isseen that a large number of candidates turn up at the rally site during theinitial stage of the Recruitment Rally. It is therefore requested that a Policeforce of sufficient strength be provided and deployed at the Rally sites for theinitial period of physical measurement test and documents check ie on 05 and 06February 2010 at Police Ground, Cuttack. Since the candidates start gathering atthe rally site one day prior to the registration, it is therefore requested thatthe police force be stationed at the above Rally site before start of the rally inthe morning from 0500 hours onward. (c) It is also requested that a SDM may pleasebe deputed as an overall co-ordinator for security arrangement in liason with theArmy,authorities at the Recruitment Rally site and to keep a close watch tomonitor the situation by frequent visits to the Rally site. Their candidature will be rejected during any stage of recruitment as andwhen detected. 1.03 Candidates should fill up the application in his/her ownhandwriting and must sign as well as put his/her left hand thumb impressions at

    the prescribed places. Applications should be filled either in English or inHindi. Application should be on a good quality A4 size bond paper (80 GSM) usingone side only. Newspaper cuttings should not be used as application. Thecandidates purchasing printed application from the market should ensure that itconforms to the prescribed format published in, the Centralised Employment Notice.The candidates can also make photocopy of the application format as given in theEmployment News/ Rozgar Samachar and then fill up the details.They can alsodownload the application format from the website of the RRBs. The detailedCentralised employment notice has also been displayed on the notice board in theoffice of RRBs. The candidates should send their application sufficiently inadvance before the closing date. RRBs will not be responsible for any postaldelay/wrong delivery at any stage of the selection process. 1.04 The candidatesare required to sign in English or in Hindi in the prescribed places provided in

    Application Form and Information Sheet. The signatures on Application Form,Information sheet, Answer Sheet, Question Booklet and other places should beidentical. The signatures must be in running hand and not in block capital ordisjointed letters. Signatures at the time of application, written examination anddocument verification in different style or language may result in cancellation ofcandidature. 1.05 Candidates submitting more than one application for the samecategory will be summarily rejected. 1.06 Candidates should note that only theDate of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/High School Examination Certificateor an equivalent Certificate as on the date of submission of applications willonly be accepted by the RRB.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: The eligible candidates who have already applied against theearlier notifications of respective RRBs will be considered eligible for

    Centralised Examination & they need not apply again. In case, any such candidatewho had already applied against earlier notification wants to apply to some otherRRB, He/She can do so against this new Centeralised Notification. In this case, He/ She would have applied for two or more RRBs. but he/she will be doing so onhis / her own risk, because he/she can attend examination only at one centre sincethe examinations will be held on the same day by all RRBs. 1.07 1.08 1.09
