LAUDE El Altillo School es un centro privado, noconcertado y mixto, fundado en 1998 y situado enJerez de la Frontera, Cádiz.

LAUDE El Altillo School se fundamenta en cuatroprincipios básicos: la educación en valores (cívicos,éticos y solidarios), la enseñanza de las lenguasinglesa y francesa, la formación de los alumnos enel uso de las nuevas tecnologías y el fomento de lapráctica deportiva. Todo ello, junto a la excelentecualificación profesional y al espíritu de mejorapermanente de todo el equipo docente, hace posiblela educación plena de nuestros alumnos y laobtención de unos resultados académicos excelentes.

El principal objetivo del proyecto educativo de LAUDEEl Altillo School es la educación y la formaciónintegral de sus alumnos, razón por la que el procesode enseñanza se complementa con una gran variedadde actividades culturales, deportivas, artísticas,religiosas, humanitarias, medioambientales y lúdicas,imprescindibles en la formación de todos nuestrosalumnos.

Para el desarrollo de esta labor, el Centro cuentacon unas modernas y funcionales instalaciones quefomentan la práctica deportiva, facilitan el accesoa las Nuevas Tecnologías y disponen de los elementosnecesarios para generar un ambiente propicio parael estudio. Este ambiente de estudio se desarrolla alo largo de toda la jornada escolar, que comprendedesde las 9 de la mañana hasta las 5 de la tarde,y todos los alumnos del Centro asisten al mismo conel uniforme escolar, elemento distintivo de LAUDE ElAltillo School.

LAUDE El Altillo School was founded in 1998. It is aprivate, non-religious, mixed school without co-operative arrangements with the government thatteaches students from the age of 1 to university. LAUDEEl Altillo School is one of the best and most prestigiousSchools in Andalucía and it has more than 1070students from 1 to 18 years of age.

At our school, learning consists of much more thanjust acquiring concepts. It also includes understandingand enjoying the unknown world that our studentshave before them every day. We want all of ourstudents to gain self-confidence, guiding them towhere their capacities and vocation may take them.Our students receive a holistic education foundedupon four pillars: an education in values, the teachingof English and French, the importance of sports andthe new IT technologies and communication.

LAUDE El Altillo School is not a British school. Howeverin Pre-School and Primary Education the number ofclass hours taught in English is similar to the Spanishones. We follow the Spanish educational system andwe dedicate special attention to languages (with threetimes as many class hours than most schools in Spain),information technology and sports. We educate eachof our students so that they are free and responsibleand develop fully as individuals.Our school timetable is from 9:00 a.m. till 17:00 p.m.and all the students wear the school uniform.

Fomentar el trilingüismo mediante el uso de la lenguainglesa y francesa como instrumento comunicativodentro de la jornada escolar para conseguir el correctoy completo dominio de estos idiomas.

Gabinete MédicoAsiste a todos los alumnos en caso de accidente, diseña elmenú escolar, coordina las campañas de vacunación eimparte formación de primeros auxilios a los alumnos.Además contamos con un seguro de accidentes que cubrea nuestros alumnos dentro y fuera de las instalacionesmientras realizan actividades escolares.

Gabinete PsicopedagógicoDirige el programa de apoyo al estudio para los alumnosque encuentran dificultades en el aprendizaje, se encargade reforzar la enseñanza de técnicas de estudio, seresponsabiliza de orientar profesionalmente al alumnadode Bachillerato y diagnostica deficiencias de aprendizaje.

ComedorEl menú escolar se cocina diariamente en el Centro, siendouna dieta equilibrada, elaborada y vigilada por el GabineteMédico y se publica cada dos meses. A partir de Secundaria,los alumnos escogen entre dos menús distintos.

RutasEl transporte escolar cubre además de Jerez, otraspoblaciones desde la costa, la Bahía de Cádiz y la Sierra,hasta la localidad de Lebrija en la provincia de Sevilla.

Aula Matinal y VespertinaEs un servicio pensado para aquellas familias que tienenla necesidad de traer a sus hijos al Colegio antes de queempiece el horario lectivo o bien para los padres quenecesiten recogerlos terminada ya la jornada escolar. Suhorario comienza a las 7:30 por la mañana y se prolongahasta las 7 de la tarde. Los alumnos, lógicamente, seencuentran siempre bajo la tutela y el control de un profesordel Centro. Esta aula cuenta con servicio de desayuno ymerienda. Su organización se estima en función de lademanda del servicio.

Vía EducativaEste servicio telemático vía Internet, permite consultar lasincidencias de los alumnos, el menú, el calendario escolar,los horarios, los resultados académicos y otros datos deinterés. Además facilita la comunicación con el profesoradomediante correo electrónico.

Via EducativaThis on-line service allows parents to access their children’srecords, view the menu, and consult the school calendar,timetable, academic results and other information of interest.It also facilitates communication between parents andteachers via e-mail.
