Sunday 27 January 2013

1. The Kirk Session meeting scheduled for Monday 14 January was

cancelled. The Session will now meet after the Congregational

Board meeting on Monday 11 February.

2. The Big Clean - change of date: we will do the Big Clean of the

church and halls after the service on Sunday 3 February, not

Sunday 27 January, and we are looking for helpers for the this.

Please out your name on the list that is in the vestibule. Thank

you - Graeme Low.

3. The Guild of Friendship meets tomorrow afternoon when Ian

Lord will be the guest speaker.

4. The Men’s Club meet for a Games night tomorrow evening.

5. The Strollers will meet on Tuesday 29 January at 10 am outside

Lloyds TSB on Holburn Junction. You are welcome to join them.

6. The Guild is holding a Coffee morning on Saturday 2 February

from 10 am – 1 pm. Home baking, raffle and bottle stall - all

donations gratefully received. Proceeds will go to the Guild

Project.

7. OAK’s Special Lunch in aid of Clan will be held on Thursday 7

February. Tickets - £8 for a 3 course meal with tea/coffee -

are now available from the Café or from Betty and Malcolm

Steel.

8. Keith Low’s Coffee Morning and afternoon dance class:

Saturday 9 February. Please come along and support Keith.

9. St Mark’s Messenger: the deadline for articles for the church

magazine is Sunday 17 February. Alex McConochie would

appreciate early submission articles being submitted well ahead

of this date if possible.

10. The Grouping Prayer Diary for February is available in the

vestibule from today.

11. The Aberdeen City Centre Parish Grouping Prayer Circle will

meet in St Nicholas Uniting on Wednesday 6 February at 2.30

pm. All welcome.
