Sinopsis / Synopsis Step out - Street vs Stage is set in Manenberg, Cape Town. This is the story of two rival dance crews - the priviledged and the underpriviledged - who meet one another when one boy, Matt Grange, of the Street is sent to do community service at the Manenberg Art School. There is a duel on the dance floor and they unexpectedly face the death of a beloved brother, Skinny, only then the healing process starts. As a result of the healing they become stronger and form a united front against the establishment to conquer the Vortex. The Skinny Foundation is founded for all those who dream of becoming a dancer.
