市场可谓战绩辉煌:运营商队伍再添一员 —

北部湾航空;与天津航空签署了22架飞机的最

终销售协议;与多彩贵州航空有限公司签署了

17架E190喷气飞机订单。

中国幅员辽阔,地势复杂。在许多偏远地区,

地面交通极为不便,公路铁路修建成本高昂。

而支线航空以点对点的方式迅速打通空中通

巴西航空工业公司2015年中国商用飞机用户年

会于5月25日至26日在中国天津召开。来自E-

喷气系列飞机的中国用户及租赁公司客户代

表、中国民航局及中国民用航空维修协会的嘉

宾、巴航工业总部及大中华区代表、以及巴航

工业供应商的代表参加了本届年会。巴航工业

2015年营运人安全会议(EOSM)同期召开。

2015 Embraer China Commercial Jets Operators

Conference Overview

The 2015 Embraer China Commercial Jets Operators

Conference (EOC) was held on May 25th and 26th in Tianjin,

China. Guests in attendance at the conference included officials from the Civil Aviation Administration of China and Civil

Aviation Maintenance Association of China, E-Jets clients and

leasing companies, delegates from Embraer’s headquarters and

Embraer China, as well as suppliers. The Embraer 2015 EOSM

was held at the same time.

Ride the Enormous Potential of Regional Aviation

The first half of 2015 highlights the commercial jet success of Embraer China. The Company has welcomed GX Airlines into

the Embraer family, signed a final agreement for 22 aircraft with Tianjin Airlines and secured an order with Colorful Guizhou

Airlines for 17 E190s.

China is a country with complicated geographic conditions, and

in some remote areas, ground transportation is still difficult and time-consuming, so regional aviation is very important to the

local economy. It offers direct and quick connections between

cities and facilitates cargo and passenger transportation.

金秋将至,巴航工业在中国市场再获佳音:5月与天津航空公司签署了包括20架 E195和两架E190 E2共计22架飞

机的最终销售协议;6月与多彩贵州航空有限公司签订17架E190订单,结束了中国西南地区没有地方航空的历

史。截至2015年8月20日,巴航工业在中国市场共获得确认定单224架,包括188架商用飞机和36架公务机,其中155架

已交付客户使用。此外,2015年度巴航工业中国商用飞机用户年会在天津成功举办,将巴航工业用户至上、真诚服务

的理念进一步弘扬光大,并获得了中国用户的广泛参与和认可。

中国幅员辽阔,很多地区尚未被航线覆盖。而巴航工业的飞机以其创新、高效赢得了众多支线航空公司的青

睐,正努力为改善边远地区人民的出行、促进地方经济的发展,以及为枢纽干线提供稳定客流贡献自己的一份力量。

与此同时,巴航工业公务机业务也在稳健推进。从年初到8月份,巴航工业在中国的合资工厂哈尔滨安博威共向

As autumn approaches, Embraer again receives exciting news from the Chinese market. In May, the Company signed a final

sales agreement with Tianjin Airlines, a deal consisting of 20 E195s and two E190 E2s, And in June, the Company concluded

an agreement for 17 E190s with Colorful Guizhou Airlines, creating the first regional airline in Southwest China. As of Aug 20,

2015, Embraer has gained 224 firm orders, including 188 commercial aircraft and 36 executive jets, of which 155 have been

delivered.

Meanwhile, the 2015 Embraer China Commercial Jets Operators Conference was successfully held in Tianjin, and throughout

the conference Embraer conveyed the messages that customers are always the top priority and that the Company is dedicated

to offering the best services possible. The conference attracted extensive attention and was well received by the operators.

China is a vast country with complicated geographic conditions; even now many areas are not yet covered by airlines. Embraer

aircraft, however, continue to win the hearts of regional airlines through innovation and efficiency. Regional aviation improves

our transportation system and the local economy. Furthermore, Embraer aircraft are used to bring passengers to trunk lines by

carrying people from remote areas into hubs, which contributes to the main routes.

Furthermore, business is progressing steadily for Embraer Executive Jets. Year to date, HEAI (Harbin Embraer Aircraft

Industry Co. Ltd), Embraer’s joint venture in China, have delivered two Legacy 650 to ICBC Leasing,which will be operated by

SINO JET. Then in June, Embraer Executive Jets won the Supreme Brand Award during CEO Nite 2015, hosted by Capital CEO,

a renowned business magazine in Hong Kong.

Every time we review the past, we are looking toward an even better future. In this issue, we wish to share news about

Embraer’s achievements in the commercial jet market during the first half of the year, highlights from the 2015 Embraer China

Commercial Jets Operators Conference and team-building activities in China.

Ride the wind and cleave the waves as we set sail to cross the sea! The booming aviation industry provides great opportunities

2015 年 5 月 7 日 — 在由巴西航空工业公司、哈尔滨安博威飞机工业有限公司、

华龙航空三方联合举办的仪式上,一架由哈尔滨安博威总装生产的莱格赛 650 大

型公务机正式交付工银租赁,由华龙航空运营。未来一年内,巴航工业及哈尔滨

安博威还将向工银租赁暨华龙航空交付两架莱格赛 650。

作为华龙航空全新品牌亮相以来所接收的第一架飞机,这架莱格赛 650 将成为华

龙航空旗下全资品牌 GEOSTAR 中国企业家飞行俱乐部的专属主力机型。俱乐部

将推出一系列充分体现莱格赛 650 机型优势的公务机旅行计划,以极具竞争力的

价格,高效便捷的飞行方式,引领中国个性旅游的新时代。同时,该机未来还将

巴航工业助力中巴首次航空信贷合作

2015 年 5 月 19 日 — 在中国国务院总理李克强和巴西联

邦共和国总统迪尔玛 • 罗塞夫的共同见证下,巴西航空工

业公司首席财务官乔斯 • 安东尼奥 • 菲利普、中国进出口

银行董事长胡晓炼、海航集团董事会主席陈峰以及巴西

国家经济社会发展银行行长卢西亚诺 • 柯蒂诺在巴西首

都巴西利亚共同签署了一份融资框架协议。协议鼓励中

巴航空行业积极开展信贷合作。在本次交易中,海航集

团下属的天津渤海租赁有限公司将为天津航空有限责任

公司引进 E190 系列飞机提供融资支持,协议金额不超过

12.5 亿美元。

此次签署融资框架协议也是中巴两国官方出口信贷在航

空领域的首次合作。

Embraer and HEAI Deliver a Legacy 650

to ICBC Leasing

May 7 — A Legacy 650 assembled by HEAI

was officially delivered to ICBC Leasing,

which will be operated by SINO JET, during a

ceremony jointly held by Embraer, HEAI and

SINO JET. It is expected that Embraer and

HEAI will deliver another two Legacy 650

executive jets to SINO JET in the next year.

As the first aircraft received by SINO JET

since its establishment, the Legacy 650 will

be the flagship model of the Company's

subsidiary brand, GEOSTAR, a Chinese

entrepreneurs’ flying club. The club will

launch travel options using the Legacy 650, at

very reasonable price points and bring China's

customized travel to a whole new level.

Embraer Facilitates First Aviation-related Credit Cooperation Between

China and Brazil

May 19 – In Brasilia, a financing framework agreement was inked

between Embraer's Chief Financial Officer, José Antonio Filippo,

President of the Export-Import Bank of China, Hu Xiaolian, HNA

Group President Chen Feng, and President of Brazil National Bank for

Economic and Social Development, Luciano Coutinho. It was witnessed

by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and President of Brazil Dilma Rousseff.

The endorsement of this agreement paves way for credit cooperation

between China's and Brazil's aviation industries. This milestone

agreement has enabled Tianjin Bohai Leasing Co. Ltd to provide

financing support of up to US$1.25 billion for the 40 E190s that were

recently purchased by Tianjin Airlines.

2015 年 5 月 19 日 — 巴西航空工业公司和海南航空集团

子公司天津航空公司签署了一项 22 架飞机的最终销售协

议。按当前目录价格估算,该协议价值约为 11 亿美元,

包括 20 架 E195 和两架 E190 E2。此前,在中国国家主

席习近平 2014 年 7 月对巴西进行国事访问期间,两家

公司曾宣布签署 40 架飞机的销售协议。其余 18 架 E190

E2 将在获得相关政府批准后列入第二期协议。

首架 E195 将于 2015 年交付,首架 E190 E2 计划于 2018

年交付。该定单将纳入巴航工业 2015 年第二季度储备定

Embraer Confirms Firm Order from Tianjin Airlines for E-Jets and

E-Jets E2

May 19 – Embraer and China's Tianjin Airlines, a subsidiary of HNA

Group, signed the final agreement for the sale of 22 aircraft. The contract,

with an estimated value of US$1.1 billion at current list prices, comprises

20 E195s and two E190 E2s. The agreement between the two companies

for 40 aircraft was previously announced during Chinese President Xi

Jinping's State visit to Brazil, in July 2014. The remaining 18 E190 E2 will

be part of a second approval by the Chinese authorities in a later stage.

The first E195 will be delivered in 2015, and the first E190 E2 is scheduled

for delivery in 2018. This order will be incorporated into Embraer's 2015

second quarter backlog. Tianjin Airlines is currently the operator of the

largest fleet of E-Jets in Asia.

本届年会是巴航工业在中国举办的第十三

届年会。今年年会继续秉承巴航工业客户

支援及服务的核心宗旨,即不遗余力地支

持客户“持续提升飞机可利用性、优化

运营成本、增强产品竞争性”。会议期间,

公司与与会嘉宾就如何提升在役机队的工

程技术管理水平、分享飞行运行经验、提

高航材备件保障水平及优化机队维护成本

等议题展开了讨论。此外,公司也为中国

用户详尽介绍了近年中国支线航空市场的

发展现状与未来展望,并推介了公司于

2013 年推出的 E-Jets E2 系列飞机。

2015 Embraer China Commercial Jets Operators Conference Overview

May 25 – The 2015 Embraer China Commercial Jets Operators Conference (EOC) was held on

May 25th and 26th in Tianjin, China. Guests in attendance at the conference included officials

from the Civil Aviation Administration of China and Civil Aviation Maintenance Association

of China, E-Jets clients and leasing companies, delegates from Embraer's headquarters and

Embraer China, as well as suppliers. The Embraer 2015 EOSM was held at the same time.

This is the 13th Conference organized by Embraer in China. The mission of the Conference

is consistent with Embraer's customer support and service values, which are focused on the

improvement of aircraft availability, cost reduction and product development.

2015年6月15日 — 在2015年第五十一届巴黎航空展上,

巴西航空工业公司宣布:巴航工业与贵州省第一家本土

所有航空公司—多彩贵州航空有限公司签署了一份 17 架

E190 喷气飞机定单。该定单包括 7 架确认定单(将列入

2015 年第二季度定单储备)和 10 架意向定单。按当前目

录价格估算,该协议价值将达 8.34 亿美元。第一架飞机

预计将于 2015 年年内交付。

多彩贵州航空有限公司是巴航工业在中国第五家运营 E-

Embraer Inks Agreement with China’s Colorful Guizhou Airlines for

17 E190s

June 15 – Embraer S.A. announced at the 51st International Paris Air

Show that it has concluded an agreement for 17 E190s with Colorful

Guizhou Airlines, the first locally-owned airline in China's Guizhou

Province. The contract is for seven firm orders, which will be included

in Embraer's 2015 second-quarter backlog, and ten options and has an

estimated value of USD 834 million at current list price if all options are

exercised. The first aircraft is scheduled for delivery in 2015.

Colorful Guizhou Airlines is Embraer's fifth E-Jet customer in China and

the first in the southwest of the country.

June 30 – Embraer Executive Jets

won the Supreme Brand Award during

the event of CEO Nite 2015 hosted

by Capital CEO, a renowned business

magazine in Hong Kong.

The Supreme Brand Award was set

up by Capital CEO in 2006 to honor

brands with excellent performances

in innovat ion , management and

marketing. The award is decided by a

committee of elites from Hong Kong

political and business circles, as well as

votes from readers. Once established,

the award has been recognized by the

Hong Kong society.

巴航工业向巴西驻中国大使赠送奖杯及奖状

2015 年 7 月 1 日 — 巴西航空工业公司向即将离任的

巴西驻中国大使巴尔德马尔 • 卡内罗 • 里昂 (Valdemar

Carneiro Leão) 先生颁发了奖杯和奖状,感谢他在任期

间对巴航工业给予的大力支持和无私帮助。

当日,巴航工业高级副总裁兼大中华区总裁关东元先

生与大中华区首席运营官萧英扬先生一行,共同向里

昂大使颁发了奖杯和奖状,并合影留念。

巴航工业在奖杯和奖状上写道:“谨以此感谢尊敬的巴

尔德马尔 • 卡内罗 • 里昂大使先生在过去几年间对卓

越的孜孜追求,以及对巴航工业在中国的成功所给予

在赠与大使先生的奖状上,巴航工业还引用了一句唐

代诗人王勃的诗句:“海内存知己,天涯若比邻”,以

里昂先生于 2013 年开始担任巴西驻华大使,将于今年

9 月份离任。在任期间,里昂先生目睹了巴航工业在

中国的飞速发展,并见证了数个里程碑式的时刻:

2013 年,由哈尔滨安博威组装的首架莱格赛 650 大型

喷气公务机实现首飞,这也是国内首架由中外合资组

装的大型喷气公务机;今年 5 月份,巴西航空工业公

司和海南航空集团子公司天津航空公司签署了一项 22

架飞机的最终销售协议;6 月份,巴航工业与贵州省

第一家本土所有航空公司——多彩贵州航空有限公司

签署了一份 17 架 E190 喷气飞机订单。

在出任中国职位以前,里昂先生曾于 2003 年到 2008

年任巴西驻加拿大大使,2008 年到 2011 年担任巴西

驻哥伦比亚大使,以及其他诸多重要外交职位。

Embraer Presented Trophy and Certificate to Departing Brazilian

Ambassador

July 1 – Embraer China delivered a trophy and a certificate of recognition

to His Excellency Valdemar Carneiro Leão, Brazilian Ambassador to China,

in appreciation of his dedicated support to Embraer China over the past two

years.

Mr. Guan Dongyuan, Embraer Senior Vice President and President of

Embraer China, Mr. Siu Ying Yeung, Chief Operating Officer of Embraer

China, and other leaders from Embraer China jointly presented the trophy and

certificate to Mr. Leão.

The certification from Embraer said: “His Excellency Ambassador Valdemar

Carneiro Leão: In appreciation for your long term commitment to excellence

in the past years, dedicated and consistent support to the successful business

of Embraer in China.”

The certificate also cited an ancient Chinese poem to express Embraer's well

wishes for Mr. Leão, “A bosom friend afar brings a distant land near”.

Mr. Leão became the Brazilian Ambassador to China in 2013 and his term

will end in September of this year.

His two-year term coincided with Embraer's accelerated development

in China. In 2013, Embraer flew its first HEAI-assembled Legacy 650

executive jet. In May this year, Embraer signed the final agreement for the

sale of 22 aircraft to Tianjin Airlines, a subsidiary of the HNA Group. And

in June, Embraer signed an agreement with Colorful Guizhou Airlines to sell

17 E190 jets.

Before being appointed as the Brazilian Ambassador to China, Mr. Leão was

the Brazilian Ambassador to Canada from 2003 to 2008 and the Brazilian

Ambassador to Colombia from 2008 to 2011. He has also held various other

diplomatic positions.

2015 年 4 月 15 日 — 巴西航空工业公司再次荣获国际嘉奖—水晶客舱奖 ( 工业设计与视

觉概念组 )。在德国汉堡飞机内饰展中,E-Jets E2 喷气飞机的客舱内饰荣膺该奖项。巴

航工业与英国普睿谷设计公司(Priestmangoode)合作开发的新方案融入了一系列创新技

术,使商用喷气飞机 E-Jets 系列的第二代飞机从同类竞争对手中脱颖而出。

2015 年 6 月 15 日 — 巴航工业位于巴西圣若泽杜斯坎普斯的组

June 15 — The first E-Jets E2 model, an E190 E2, will begin to take

shape in the coming months at the factory in Sao Jose dos Campos, Sao

Paulo.The assembly line is ready to receive sets of parts from suppliers

in several countries in order to begin manufacturing the E190-E2,

which will be the first of the second-generation jets to go into operation,

in 2018, to be followed by the E195-E2, in 2019, and the E175-E2, in

new concept, developed in partnership

with the PriestmanGoode design company,

from Britain, incorporates a series of

innovations that differentiate the E2, which

is the second generation of the E-Jets

June 15 — Embraer and SkyWest, Inc. announced at the 51

International Paris Air Show a firm order for eight E175 jets. The

aircraft will be flown by SkyWest Airlines under a Capacity Purchase

Agreement (CPA) with Alaska Airlines. The value of the contract is

estimated at USD 355 million based on 2015 list prices.

June 15 – Embraer released its 2015-2034 Market Outlook which

details forecasted deliveries of new aircraft over the next twenty years.

The report focuses on the 70 to 130-seat capacity category, which

is valued at US$300 billion during that period. Embraer projects

deliveries of 6,350 jets — 2,250 units in the 70 to 90-seat segment and

4,100 in the 90 to 130-seat segment.

The number of 70 to 130-seat jets in service will increase from 2,590

in 2014 to 6,490 in 2034, the fastest growing segment. Replacement

of ageing aircraft will represent 39% of new deliveries and 61% will

represent new demands.

June 15 – Embraer and Aircastle Holding Corporation Limited,

which is a subsidiary of Aircastle Limited announced at the 51st

International Paris Air Show a firm order for 25 E-Jets E2, consisting

of 15 E190 E2s and 10 E195 E2s with an additional 25 purchase

rights for 15 E190 E2s and 10 E195 E2s, bringing the total potential

order to up to 50. The transaction will be included in Embraer's 2015

second-quarter backlog.

June 15 – Embraer announced at the 51 International Paris Air Show

an agreement with United Airlines to add E175 jets to the United

Express fleet. The agreement consists of 10 firm orders, which will be

included in Embraer's 2015 second-quarter backlog. Embraer expects

that United or one of its carriers United Express will convert options for

18 aircraft to firm orders soon. The 10 firm orders have an estimated

value of US$444 million based on current list price.

agreement was signed with Air Hamburg for a Legacy 650. With

this acquisition, the Germany-based business charter operator,

which serves European, Russian and Middle East destinations,

expands its Embraer fleet to six aircraft — five Legacy 600/650 and one Phenom 300. The delivery of this aircraft is scheduled for the

third quarter of 2015.

Airlines – Airliban (MEA) has placed an order for one midsize

Legacy 500 and an option for a second aircraft of the same model.

The delivery of this aircraft is scheduled for the fourth quarter

of 2015. MEA, the national airline of Lebanon, is establishing

a business jet company to offer charter flights, with the base

of its operations at its corporate headquarters, at Rafik Hariri

International Airport in Beirut.

May 18 – Embraer Executive Jets announced that the Legacy

500, its new midsize business jet that just entered the market, has

already set four world speed records for its class, this year.

June 23 – Embraer Executive Jets announced today that Etihad Flight

College, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Etihad Airways, the national airline of

the United Arab Emirates, has signed a purchase agreement for four Phenom

100E jets, and options for three additional aircraft of the same model.

Based on current list prices the deal is valued at about US$30 million, if all

options are exercised, and deliveries of the aircraft to Etihad Flight College

will start in the first quarter of 2016.

The delivery of the four new Embraer Phenom 100E jets will bring the

number of aircraft in the trainer fleet to 20, which is currently composed of 16 single-engine propeller aircraft.

July 30 – Embraer released its interim financial report

on June 30, presenting the financial data of its first half

financial year ended June 30, 2015.

During the first half of 2015, Embraerdelivered 47

commercial jets and 45 executive (36 light and nine large)

jets, and it has announced a total of 124 firm orders year-to-date.

The Company's firm order backlog reached US$22.9 billion, the highest in Embraer's history.

May 17 – The Embraer Executive Jets’ newest mid-light jet, the

Legacy 450, is making its European debut at the 15th European

Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE). The aircraft

landed at Geneva International Airport and will be on the static display

at Geneva's Palexpo Exhibition Center, in Switzerland.

The development of the Legacy 450 is advancing on

schedule, with its entry into service expected in the

fourth quarter of 2015.

5月 15 日,哈尔滨安博威工厂内设站位开始对第四架莱

格赛 650(序列号:1222)进行家具安装调试工作。截

止到 6 月 11 日,内设团队已经完成了全部家具的安装调试

以及相关测试,并完成了内设站位终检的检验工作。其中,

家具班组完成了前厨房、娱乐柜、书橱、升降会议桌、长

沙发及边柜等部分的安装及调试工作;板材班组完成了窗

户面板、顶棚板等部位的照配和安装以及地毯的铺设工作。

6 月 12 日,第四架莱格赛 650 转入喷漆站位对飞机表

面的线条进行喷涂,喷漆之后的飞机更显大气。7 月 4 日,

飞机返回内设站位,内设站位员工仅用 3 天时间就排除了

终检过程中发现的所有故障,为飞机 7 月 15 日的冷浸飞行

奠定了坚实的基础。

与此同时,第五架莱格赛 650 公务机(序列号:1228)

于 6 月 1 日正式启动机身对接工作,并于 6 月 19 日对接完

成。随后铆接站位的员工开始进行机身铆接工作,目前已

In April 2015, the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG)

held its spring meeting and general assembly in Chengdu, China. The

meeting was once hosted by China in 2004. Maury Lima and Gao Lei

from HEAI's Quality Department attended the meeting

IAQG is a high-profile international forum designed for executives

and senior professionals from the world's leading companies to discuss

strategies to enhance quality management among the aeronautics,

space and defense industries. The organization aims to improve quality,

guarantee timely delivery and manage cost throughout the supply chain.

IAQG has three regional representative offices: the Americas (AAQG),

Europe (EAQG) and Asia Pacific (APAQG). Embraer headquarters is

a member of AAQG. HEAI has been a council member and an active

participant since 2007.

On May 15th, the HEAI Interior Team started the furniture

installation for the 4th Legacy 650 (SN.1222). As of June 11th,

the team had already completed all of the installation work and testing

of the furniture. The Furniture Team has completed the installation and

adjustment of the galley, entertainment cabinet, bookshelf, conference

table, couch and side cabinet. Additionally, the Panel Team has finished

selecting and installing the window panels and ceilings and has laid the

carpet.

On June 12th, the fourth Legacy 650 was transferred to the Paint Team.

The aircraft looks more elegant after the paint scheme is complete. On

July 4th, the aircraft was transferred back to the Interior Team, where

they finished troubleshooting within three days and readied the aircraft

for the cold soak flight on July 15th.

Meanwhile, the fuselage junction for the 5th Legacy 650 (SN. 1228)

started on June 1st and came to a close on June 19th. At that time, the

next team started the riveting work, which is now over 50% complete.

In bid to encourage employees to take a proactive stance in

improving and optimizing the company's processes, HEAI

initiated the “Good Idea Program” on May 6, 2014. This program

encourages improvements in three areas: cost reduction, occupational/

environmental safety and working conditions.

Since the implementation of this program, 209 ideas were proposed,

48 of which have been implemented since 4 May 2015. This

included proposals for a “quick repair for composite material”

and“saving ridoline in painting” proposed by Liu Zhi from the

Production Department; “windshield protection cover install sequence

optimization” proposed by Du Chengxu from the Production

Department, and “tool shelf inside ACFT” proposed by Wang Weiqian

from the Production Department.

A celebration ceremony was subsequently held by HEAI on 19 June

2015 to recognize the contributors of the Good Idea Program. The

contributors were pleasantly surprised when they were rewarded with

gifts such as fitness equipment, tools, outdoor supplies, and home

appliances.

The Good Idea Program has triggered much enthusiasm among

employees and has motivated them to find ways to enhance processes

at work. As we say, even a simple idea can make a big difference!

Without a healthy regional aviation industry, there

is no way to build a sustainable aviation industry

with more seats. So E-jets encourage airlines to explore new routes

by lowering the risks.

Currently, Embraer has five operators in China: Tianjin Airlines,

China Southern Airlines, Hebei Airlines, Colorful Guizhou Airlines

and GX Airlines. So far Embraer's ERJ145 and E190 fleets are

serving more than 120 domestic and overseas airports, on more

than 400 routes, making more and more contributions to to the local

economy.

On May 19, Embraer and Tianjin Airlines, a subsidiary of HNA

Group, signed a final agreement for the sale of 22 aircraft. The

contract, with an estimated value of US$1.1 billion at current list

prices, comprises 20 E195s and two E190 E2s. The agreement

between the two companies for 40 aircraft was previously

announced during Chinese President Xi Jinping's State visit to

Brazil, in July 2014. The remaining 18 E190 E2 will be part of a

second approval by the Chinese authorities in a later stage.

The first E195 will be delivered in 2015, and the first E190 E2 is

currently the operator of the largest fleet of E-Jets in Asia.

At the Paris Air Show, Embraer Commercial Aviation continued

its strong momentum by announcing 50 firm orders for its

narrowbody jets worth a total of US$2.6 billion, along with an

additional 53 options. The orders came from China’s Colorful

Guizhou Airlines, United Airlines, Alaska Airlines (ordered by

SkyWest Inc) and aircraft lessor Aircastle. The orders consisted

of current generation E-Jets as well as the E-Jets E2.

On top of that, the E-Jets E2 cabin mockup was on display to the

media and Embraer's guests. The E-Jets E2 is scheduled to enter

into service from 2018 onwards and currently has 640 orders and

commitments, of which 267 are firm.

A notable deal was the Colorful Guizhou Airlines, the first

locally-owned airline in China's Guizhou Province.The company

率,但降低了航空公司的利润,也并非可持续的商业模式,更不能

使投资者受益。

麻省理工学院 MIT 和美国 PODS 研究机构进行的模拟试验结果

表明 :比较 110 座级和 170 座级的飞机,110 座级的单座利润通常

更高,差距可达到 30%。

而 E- 喷气系列飞机的大小和座级恰好处于很多市场需求的最佳

范围,这些合适尺寸的机型比大型喷气飞机上座率更高,而且能为

乘客提供更好的旅行体验。比如采用 2+2 无中间座位的客舱布局并

E-Jets E2 的推出,又将现有的 E- 喷气系列飞机的效率提升至

signed a contract with Embraer to order 17 E190s,

including seven firm orders, which will be included

in Embraer's 2015 second-quarter backlog, and

10 options and has an estimated value of US$834

million at the current list price if all options are

exercised. The first aircraft is scheduled for delivery

in 2015.

Recently, Embraer shared its unique perspective by

releasing its New Metrics of Success. That is: profit-

per-seat is a more scientific metrics to evaluate

airline success than the current popular cost-per-seat

method. Embraer believes that lower ticket price

might attract more passengers temporarily, but it

will eventually lower profit and will not sustain the

airlines, nor will benefit the investors.

Researches done by MIT and PODS show that the

per-seat-profit of an 110-seat aircraft is usually

higher than that of a 170-seat, with a disparity of up

to 30%.

The size and seat capacity of E-Jets responds best

to the market demands, and help airlines improve

passengers' traveling experience through designs

such as 2+2 seat arrangement which provides bigger

space for passengers as well as bigger aisle room for

flight attendants.

E-Jets E2 further lowers the fuel and maintenance

cost, and brings the aircraft efficiency to a new

level. Therefore, the average per-seat-profit is more

evident.

In June this year, Embraer released its 2015-2034

Market Outlook which details forecasted deliveries

of new aircraft over the next twenty years. It forecast

that China will deliver 1,020 70 to 130-seat jets

during this period, which accounts for 16% of the

world total.

Tianjin Airlines is the launch customer of the E190 in China

and operates the largest E-Jets fleet in Asia with 45 E190s in its

fleet. It is also the first carrier being appointed as an Authorized

Service Center for Embraer aircraft in China. Recently, the carrier

announced to install Embraer AHEAD-PRO system for all its

E190s, becoming the first user of this system in China.

SkyWest is the largest regional airline group in the world and is

the parent company of SkyWest Airlines and ExpressJet Airlines.

Both companies have long histories with Embraer and were early

customers of the Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia turboprop aircraft. In

a separate deal with Embraer announced in June of 2013, SkyWest

became the launch customer for the E175 E2, ordering 100 aircraft

with 100 additional options. Deliveries will begin in 2020.

The 2015 Embraer China Commercial jets Operators Conference (EOC)

was held on May 25th and 26th in Tianjin, China. Guests included

officials from the Civil Aviation Administration of China and Civil Aviation

Maintenance Association of China, E-Jets clients and leasing companies,

delegates from Embraer's headquarters and Embraer China, as well as

suppliers.

The mission of the conference is consistent with Embraer's customer support

and service values, which are focused on the improvement of aircraft

availability, cost reduction and product development.

This year, topics included how to improve the engineering and technical

management of the in-service fleet, flight operations, spare parts management,

and maintenance cost optimization. Embraer also shared its Chinese regional

aviation market overview and promoted the E-Jets E2 family, which was

launched in 2013.

During the conference, the company introduced the Embraer E-Solutions

作为巴航工业的元老之一,萧英扬有足够的理由感

到骄傲 : 在巴航工业大中华区工作的十几年来,

他亲眼目睹了公司稳扎稳打,销售量节节攀升,最终以逾

80% 的份额在中国支线飞机市场独占鳌头;他认为,无论

市场成绩如何辉煌,客户服务永无止境。

15 年来,巴航工业已经以其卓越的产品在各航空公司

中建立了良好口碑,而目前的重要任务就是为航空公司提

供增值服务,帮助他们获得更大收益。“这也正是客户购买

我们飞机的最终目的,”萧英扬说。

对于许多航空公司来说,维修费用高昂是运营中的一

大难点。萧英扬承认,相比西方发达国家,中国市场还不

够成熟,反映在维修上,中国单架飞机的维修人员比例远

高于西方同行。而出于种种安全因素考虑,中国相关部门

的防范措施繁多,这也大大地提高了运营成本。

一个突出的例子就是中国航空公司的惯例 — “随机机

务”,即每次飞行都要有一名机务随机飞行。这样一来,随

机机务占用一个座位,航空公司就少卖一个座位。而萧英

扬认为,正是这些不尽科学的安排很大程度上影响了航空

公司的利润。

打破这一局面的是巴航工业亚洲最大的客户 — 天津航

空公司,他们相信 E190 喷气飞机的自我监控能力,认为该

机型在没有机务随机的情况下,仍有多项措施保证飞行安

全。

天津航空公司的做法很快得到了其他航空公司的响应,

多家支线航空公司随后取消了随机机务。天津航空公司加

装了巴航工业的 AHEAD-PRO 系统。该系统拥有飞机系统

的实时数据传输功能,在飞机抵达目的地前,地勤人员就

company he has been working for more than ten years, has consolidated

its role as the leader of the Chinese regional aviation market, with over

80% of the market share; however, Siu said the company is working

even harder to add comprehensive range of services to the conventional

customer support, so customers’ benefit can be enlarged.

Embraer has already successfully built trust with airlines, now the

top agenda is to add value to airlines value streams through various

services, so they can generate more profit. “After all, this is why they

buy our aircrafts,” Siu said.

Today, maintenance cost is still a strain to many airlines. “Considering

the China aviation industry is not as mature as the developed countries,

the ratio of the maintenance staff per aircraft is much higher than

that of Western counterparts. In China, there are so many precautions

that escalate the overall cost considerably compared with Western

countries,” he said.

Embraer is offering customers not only reliable products, hardware and

software, but also professional consultation to help improve customers’

management scheme and therefore to improve their profitability.

“We work through several channels: first, we offer consultation

to optimize their spare parts inventory to bring down their upfront

investment; second, we get involved with airlines to optimize their

maintenance programs, so as to reduce their aircraft grounding time

and increase their aircraft availability; third, we came up with creative

solutions such as preventative maintenance and monitoring programs,

so that their aircraft turn-around process can be faster,” Siu said.

六个月的试运行结束后,天津航空公司对运行效果非常满意,

随即为公司的所有 E- 喷气系列飞机安装了这一系统。

这仅仅是巴航工业为客户提供增值服务的一个小小缩影。事实

上,巴航工业不仅为客户提供可靠的产品、硬件和软件,还提供专

业的咨询服务以提升客户的管理水平,从而增强了客户的盈利能力。

萧英扬列举了公司为客户增值的三种主要渠道:第一,提供咨

询服务,帮助客户优化备件库存,降低前期投入;第二,与各大航

空公司携手优化维修计划,从而减少飞机停泊时间,提高飞机利用

率;第三,提供创新性解决方案,如监控程序等预防性措施,从而

加快飞机的周转速度。

“这些举措不仅提高了航空公司的经济效益,而且促进了零件

供应商努力提高其产品质量,降低故障率,从而增强了整个飞机系

统的可靠性。”萧英扬补充道。航材库存共享项目是巴航工业减少

客户备件库存,降低库存管理费用的又一重要举措。航材库存共享

这一概念在西方国家十分普及,因为这种做法能帮助航空公司将维

修费用保持在一个可预知的水平,而中国则更需要大力推进这一做

法。

萧英扬道出了个中原因:在世界大部分国家,飞机维修部件只

要获得了美国联邦航空局 (FAA) 和欧洲航空安全局 (EASA) 认证,

就不必在其他国家进行认证;而中国民用航空局(CAAC)要求飞

机所有的维修部件都要经过 CAAC 认证。所以巴航工业中国公司

必须不断扩大认证维修部件的基数。“因为只有当我们拥有足够的

经 CAAC 认证零配件,才能给航空公司提供一个打包的、有竞争

力的维修服务价格,”萧英扬解释道。

巴航工业的创新永无止境,在客户服务方面同样如此,而

FlyEmbraer 网络客户端即是一个很好的例子。作为一个客户专属的

网络端,FlyEmbarear 可以清楚地显示零部件供应链的储备和转运

情况,以方便航空公司更快更方便地订购零件,也更好地监控其零

部件的运输情况。

另一个著名案例增值服务项目是“ePerformance”,巴航工业一

款帮助航空公司计算新路线和飞机性能的软件。该软件可以将原来

飞行运营部门两天的工作压缩到几个小时。

萧英扬认为,巴航工业大中华区已经在市场建立了良好的口碑

和信任度,现在已经步入了一个崭新的发展阶段 :增值产品,为客

户输送利润。“我们不讲‘客户支持’,而是大讲‘客户服务和支持’,

原因也在于此。”

The spare part pool program is another initiative Embraer took

to support customers to reduce the spare parts inventory and to

reduce stock investment and caring cost.

“The pool concept is very popular in Western countries

because it keeps spare parts cost at a predictable level.

Embraer China is working hard to enlarge the base of CAAC

component repair capabilities: When we reach a reasonable

critical mass of repaired parts certified by CAAC, we would

be able to offer a comprehensive cost to airlines. Otherwise,

the price of the pool is not so attractive.”

Embraer is also offering other innovative solutions to add more

value to customers. It put the spare part supply chain onto

the FlyEmbraer, Embraer's exclusive customer web portal, to

facilitate airlines to order and monitor their component supply

chain more efficiently.

Another prominent case is the ePerformance, Embraer's

software to help airlines calculate new routes and aircraft

performances, so a previous two-day calculation work by

flight-operation departments can now be done in a few hours.

“Embraer has entered a different stage of development,” Siu

said. “Now we need to help our customers to generate more

profit from our products. This is the revolution we are going

through and also what we have been branding for the last five

years. That's why instead of using ‘customer support’, we

use ‘customer services and support'."

“Eventually the airlines can make more money and then we

can generatebetter aircraft sales result,” Siu concluded.

While Embraer promotes its E-Jets E2 worldwide, its customer

service and support is also going through a big revolution,

especially in China.

Johann Bordais said he is bedazzled by the fast steps of China:

15 years ago, there were no E-Jets flying in the country and the

operation was more regional; but today E-Jets are visible across the

country and even beyond the border, with a group of operators.

The quick development brought in challenges for Bordais and his

team. “The biggest challenge is to follow the globalization trend

and bring our customer services to the next generation,” Bordais

said. “Smart integration is a core concept we are working on, and

also what we are offering to our customers. But to do this, the

industry needs to be ready and our operators need to be ready.”

Currently, Embraer needs to work in China on two areas to further

improve customer services and support: the material support and

the flying crew support, or the pilots, Bordais added.

“First, we need to make sure airlines have enough pilots. People

might say: 'well, this is not the responsibility of us, but the airlines';

actually it is very wrong, because if there are not enough pilots, it

makes no sense for airlines to buy aircrafts” he said.

“We have a partnership with a third party to provide pilots to our

E-Jets family — it is a preferred provider, not exclusive — and in

China we have two main providers from the third party. Now with

the rollout of E2, we also want to find solutions for E2 as it is just

around the corner.

Johann Bordais 认为这正是中国经济的一个缩影:中国

产品来看,别的国家从购买 ERJ145 到 E- 喷气飞机系列经

历了 20 年,而中国只用了 10 年。“与中国客户合作,你得

时刻做好准备,因为一切发展太快。中国市场潜力巨大,

而现在仅仅是一个开始。”

中国市场的飞速发展给 Johann Bordais 和他的团队带来

了新的挑战,而其中最大的挑战是向客户提供紧跟全球化

趋势的服务。“我们的核心理念和努力方向是智能一体化,

备。”

而由于不同地区的发展阶段不同,Johann Bordais 同时

一视同仁地做好服务,” Johann 说道。

Training requires a lot of investment, but when it reaches a critical mass,

all the trainings and devices will pay off, and the customers benefit as

well, Bordais said.

When it comes to materials, the airlines don't want to invest in the

expensive spare parts inventory, either. Responding to this trend, OEMs

and other suppliers are developing pool programs to guarantee the cost

and the services, so it gives a full flexibility to airlines, Bordais added.

Looking into the future, Bordais believed that smart integration and big

data will be the mainstream. “By using these systems, we can make the

unpredictable as predictable as possible. Nobody in the industry like

surprises, no matter they are US or European or Chinese airlines.”

Bordais cited a common case to explain this mission. “Components

always seem to break at a remote place, so we need to send a mechanic

there; but what we are doing right now is to anticipate the possibility and

to make it happen where we want it to happen. This is the next generation

of customer support. It is not reactive any more, but proactive.”

To let customers buy this idea, Bordais' team needs to communicate as

much as possible with customers, “so we can offer them the integrated

services at the right time,” he said.

The annual Embraer China Commercial Jets Operators Conference offers

a prefect platform for Embraer and operators to exchange ideas and detect

customer needs, Bordais said. “The conference not only provides chances

to discuss technical issues, but also gives us opportunities to build

networks."

也有两个第三方合作方。现在随着E2喷气飞机推出,

我们针对该机型的解决方案也在顺利推进。”

飞行员培训需要大量投资,但当达到一定规模

时,这些培训和设备投入都将获得回报,客户也会

从中受益,Johann 说。

说到另一个任务 — 航材 — 的问题上,Johann

认为,航空公司不愿花费巨资在航材储备上,这就

需要制造商和其他供应商开发共享项目,为航空公

司提供更具弹性的选择,同时控制成本,保证服务

质量。

展望未来,Johann 认为智能一体化和大数据将

成为主流。“在这些理念基础上开发的系统能让我们

更好地预测各种未知情况。在这个行业里,没人喜

欢 ' 惊喜 ',无论是在美国、欧洲还是中国。”

Johann 举了一个简单的例子:“我们总是感觉飞

机经常在偏远地区发生故障,而我们只好从很远的

地方把机械师调过去。现在我们要做的就是预测故

障发生的可能性,同时尽量让故障发生在我们可控

的地方。— 这就是新一代的客户服务:前瞻性、预

防性服务,而非应急性服务。”

为了让客户认可这一观点,客户服务和支持团

队要与客户充分沟通,以便能在合适的时间提供合

适的服务,Johann 补充道。

而一年一度的 EOC 为巴航工业及运营商的交流

提供了完美的平台,不仅让大家一起讨论技术问题,

而且让大家相互认识交流、增进了解。 “作为飞机

制造商,我们要时刻保持谦虚,不断向运营商学习,

把握未来发展的脉搏,” Johann 说。

“自始至终 EOC 都在传递一个理念 :我们秉承

巴航工业的 DNA,我们雇佣当地员工来更好地服务

客户,我们的目标是为客户提供更专业的、更有效

的支持和服务。”

巴西航空工业公司的 E190 无疑是天津航空旗下的

明星机型,无论从机队规模还是收入看,E190 都

占据了半壁江山:天津航空的 80 多架飞机中有 45 架 E190,

而该机型每年给天津航空带来的收入超过 50%。

身为海航的元老和资深航空人,杜小平对 E190 情有独

钟。

“E190 在我们的网络建设上起到了承上启下的作用。从

前巴航工业的主力机型 ERJ145 在前期开拓市场发挥了重要

的作用,在市场培育成熟后出于对座位数和航程距离的更

多需求, E190 为我们提供了更广阔的空间。”杜小平评论道。

也正是由于这个原因,天津航空先后在天津、西安、乌

鲁木齐、呼和浩特、贵阳、南宁、海口、三亚、大连建立

了基地,利用 E190 从支线向干线输送客流。杜小平也希望

未来能利用 E190 的优势开通国际航线,将业务辐射得更广,

如从南宁飞到东南亚,从乌鲁木齐飞到西亚、中亚,等等。

“在国内,进一步提高飞机利用率的空间已经不是很大

了;而利用国际长航线,夜间飞行,可以进一步提高飞机

的利用率,降低运营成本,”杜小平说。

作为一家以支线起家的航空公司,基地选择也是天津

航空的长项。该公司已经建立 9 个基地,下一步计划在东北、

华中,以及沿海地区选择合适的基地,利用国家 "一带一路 ",

建设空中丝绸之路的政策利好,进一步将 E190 的作用发挥

到极致。

杜小平认为,中国很多机场的时刻已经饱和,而天津航

空也会瞄准国际市场和二三线市场,“不跟大机场抢资源”。

The E190 from Embraer is obviously the star model of Tianjin

Airlines, which accounts for half of the company's fleet and

revenue (45 out of over 80 planes owned by Tianjin Airlines are

E190, contributing more than 50% to the total revenue).

Du Xiaoping, one of the early employees at Hainan Airlines, parent

company of Tianjin Airlines, and a veteran in the aviation industry,

has a special affection for the E190.

“The E190 is a bridge connecting our different business stages.

Our previous models, the ERJ145s, once the flagship product

of Embraer, played a significant role during our early stages of

expansion; but as the market matures, we need aircraft with more

seating capacity and longer range, and the E190 meets these

demands perfectly.”

Tianjin Airlines has established multiple bases using its E190

fleet to transport passengers from the regional markets to the

main routes. Du expects to open some international routes and

expand Tianjin Airlines’ business to the world, such as routes from

Nanning to Southeast Asian countries and Urumqi to western and

central Asian countries.

“In terms of capacity utilization, there is little room to improve

in the domestic market. However, we can count on night flights

for international routes, so we can raise the utility rate and cut

operational costs,” Du said.

Based on Du's observations, the timetables of major airports in

China are already saturated. Therefore, Tianjin Airlines will focus

司。随着大家对市场看法的理性回归, E190 的市场优势还

会更加凸现出来。尤其在新疆、甘肃、宁夏、青海这些西

部地区,可能需要更多的 E190。”

2015 年,随着国家京津冀一体化战略的强势推进,天

津航空获得了另一轮的利好消息。

“京津冀一体化,天津的地位会更加重要,天津政府对

天津航空的发展也会有新的期望。我们在做好支线的同时,

也会紧抓京津冀一体化及天津自贸区的历史机遇,加大在

天津市场的运力投放,减轻目前北京首都机场几近饱和的

时刻压力。而目前距离首都二机场的建成还有五年时间,

在这个历史机遇期,天津航空将进一步加强天津的干、支

航线网络布局,开通通达欧美的国际长航线,打造进出首

都的第二空中通道。”杜小平说。

相比大航空公司的干线争夺,天津航空选择了另辟蹊

径 — 将支线市场各个击破。杜小平回忆起乌鲁木齐基地的

初创期时仍然感慨万千:“作为一家新成立的地方航空公司,

我们避免跟大航空公司去争夺资源。新疆航线南航是最大

的,我们只能从支线做起,至今新疆的十七八个机场我们

都飞了。所以符合客户的需求是我们的立身之本。”

当地民众的殷切希望也是支持杜小平继续前行的动力。

十几年前他还是长安航空的负责人,公司飞机首飞西安 - 兰

州 - 嘉峪关时,正值隆冬,滴水成冰,但是机场人山人海,

挤满了来看热闹的民众:“终于有飞机了!”当地代表给机

长献花时,鲜花早已冻成了冰花。

由于一开始乘客不多,这个机场一年只飞几个月,而

现在年吞吐量已经超过 30 多万。

“支线利润不高,进口飞机关税又很高,但是我们要满

足这些需求。我始终觉得我们和巴航工业是在做善事,为

当地经济提供了新的发展的机遇,一张新的名片,”杜小平

说。

作为巴航工业在亚洲最大的客户,天津航空也极为重

视与巴航工业在维修和服务方面的合作。2010 年,天津航

空就已成为巴西航空工业公司在亚洲地区首家 E- 喷气系列

飞机授权服务中心。

“我们很喜欢巴航工业用户年会这种直接坦诚的交流,

希望将来我们在机务维修方面能有更好的合作,把天航建

成亚太最大的维修基地,促进巴航工业在亚太地区的发展 ,”

杜小平表达了他的期望。

This year, as the economic integration strategy among Beijing,

Tianjin, and the Hebei province accelerates, Tianjin Airlines is

embracing another round of opportunities.

Instead of competing for main routes against other big companies,

Tianjin Airlines chose a different route - the regional markets.

Recalling the early days of the Urumqi base, Du still has mixed

feelings, “China Southern Airlines used to dominate main routes in

and out of Xinjiang, so we started from regional routes. Now our

aircraft cover all the airports within Xinjiang, meeting the needs of

customers in this area.”

The expectations of the locals is another motivation for Du. More

than 10 years ago, when Du was head of Chang An Airlines, he

witnessed the maiden flight of the company's aircraft from Xi'an to

Lanzhou then to Jiayuguan. It was a bitter winter and everything

froze, yet the airport was packed with people to witness this special

moment. “Finally we have flights!” the crowd cheered. When a

local representative presented flowers to the captain, the petals were

already frozen.

“Regional aviation profits are not great and aircraft import

tariffs are very high. I think what we do with Embraer is partly

philanthropic : we offer development opportunities for the local

economy and we create a name for the region,by offering a

convenient aviation service.”

When I got the news that my husband was awarded as the Best

Employee again, we were very happy. The best reward possible, after

dedicating himself to hard work, is the recognition from colleagues and

friends. Thanks for the encouragement that all his colleagues have given

to him. I believe he would keep doing his best and strive for perfection

in the future.

Being family members of an Embraer employee, we always care for

the development of Embraer. I sincerely wish Embraer can have a very

healthy and bright future in China, and wish more Embraer aircraft fly

In my mind, a man immersed in work is the sexiest, and apparently

Clark is full of this charm. From time to time although he is physically

back home, his mind is still lingering on work. Almost every day

he work extra hours and it is not rare that he stays up till midnight.

Occasionally I complain, but most of the time I'm touched by his

great dedication. When looking at him in work, I think he is the most

charming man in the world. I hope he would continue to make effort for

a better Embraer in future. Iwill continue supporting his work and wish

he can contribute more to Embraer's success in China!

I am very happy to see Embraer recognizes his dedication and effort,

and to feel how much he is loved at work. At home he is an equally

为了增强巴航工业中国团队的凝聚力,让员工以更

饱满的精神状态服务客户,巴航工业在 5 月 8 日举行了

“爱上棒球”团队建设活动。和风煦日中,超过 50 名员

工参加了活动。上午是学习和练习时间,下午大家分成

4 个组开始比赛。欢声笑语中,大家收获了团队精神、

友谊和对公司的向心力。

To enhance the team spirit, Embraer China hosted a "Love Baseball" activity

on May 8. It was a sunny day and more than 50 people joined the activity. In

the morning people learned and practised, and in the afternoon, they were

grouped into four teams for a competition.Surrounded by laughters, Embraer

China people gained not only baseball skills, but also team spirit, friendship,

and deeper love toward the company.
