Zeppelin airships to fly over London again
A German airship operator (DZR GmbH) is to start Zeppelin sightseeing flights over
London's most famous landmarks from next month. After two years of planning, five
sightseeing flights of London onboard a Zeppelin airship will take off every day from July 10.
The flights will take off from east London and climb to 2,000 ft above the Thames.
Tours will last between 30 minutes and an hour and will accommodate 12 passengers
per flight, with every ticket offering a window seat in the 35-foot long cabin. The airship will
arrive in the UK on July 6 and commercial flights will operate from July 10 after four days of
test flights. Flights will be on offer until August 21 – the short season owing to safety
restrictions, which stop the airship from flying during heavy winds, thunderstorms or fog.
The cabin has seats for 12 passengers, one pilot and one flight attendant and although
there’s a toilet onboard, in-flight catering is unlikely. The 30-minute flights will travel from
Upminster to Greenwich Palace, the 45-minute flights will reach St Paul’s and the 60-minute
flights will get as far as Buckingham Palace before returning east.
The www.staroverlondon.co.uk website is expected to go live within a few days and
corporate bookings are already being taken over the phone. Tickets will cost between £185
and £360 depending on the length of the tour, but the company will also raise revenue from
selling advertising. This morning, a deal was reached with Stella Artois to be the sole sponsor
of the flights - its logo will adorn the sides of the Zeppelin.
London isn’t the first destination for Zeppelin Tours. Airship Initiatives currentlyoffers Zeppelin flights from Friedrichshafen on the shores of Lake Constance in southern
Germany.

található. A turisták tájékozódását azonban nehezíti, hogy az itteniek nem sokat törődnek az
utcanevekkel, csupán a nagyobb sugárutakat illetik közismert elnevezéssel, a kisebb utak
teljes anonimitásba burkolóznak. Ezért az útbaigazítást kérő ne csodálkozzon, ha viszonyítási
pontként parkot, híres épületet vagy valamilyen boltot mondanak. A taxisok azonban
mindenhol feltalálják magukat, így eltévedés esetén nyugodtan lehet rájuk hagyatkozni.
A souq-nak nevezett helyi piacok meglátogatása még az isztambuli bazáron edződött
turistának is élményszámba megy. Dubai souq-jai azonban jóval túlnőtték a bolhapiac
fogalmát, itt célirányosan lehet piacot választani, ha fűszereket, parfümöt, ékszereket, ruhákat
vagy elektronikus berendezéseket keresünk.

Americans have been captivated by a new kind of entertainment called "reality
television." More than two dozen reality shows are on the air so far, and more are in the

Contestants face challenges from nature and from their fellow contestants, who vote them one by one off the island. The winner receives $1 million. Last season’s winner, Mr. Heidik
started with a strategy to outwit other contestants. "See, most people forget why they're out
there. I kind of stuck to a plan. I reaffirmed to myself every day why I was there: the money,
the money, the money, the money," he says.
Executive producer Mark Burnett says Survivor has a loyal following of 20 million
viewers because the series, in his opinion, is just as engaging as a movie, which includes
travel experience, compelling characters, and good story telling.
Mike Fleiss produces several reality series, including The Bachelor* and The
Bachelorette*, which track the dating adventures of a single man and woman. "These
shows are prepared within a very tight time limit, that is you shoot round the clock.”.

Ryanair – the world’s least favourite airline
Ryanair has been voted the world’s least favourite airline as its ultra-frugal approach
to flying wins millions of customers but very few fans.
The Dublin-based airline is joined on the list of aviation shame by Heathrow, which
was voted the world’s least favourite airport in a survey by travel website TripAdvisor.In a poll of 4,000 travellers around the world, unfriendly staff were cited as the worst
part of the Ryanair experience, followed by delays and poor legroom. Low-cost travel fares
badly in the study, with easyJet coming second to its Irish rival in a questionnaire of
travellers.
Ryanair has transformed itself from a small company into one of Europe’s biggest
airlines over two decades. However, its obsessive focus on low prices has ruined its public
image. In one infamous incident, it charged a man with cerebral palsy £18 to use awheelchair, while in another example of cost-cutting zeal, pilots and cabin crew pay for their
own training and uniforms.
Chief executive Michael O’Leary is the industry’s most outspoken executive, having
advocated the shooting of travel agents and urged passengers concerned about the
environmental impact of flying to sell their cars and walk instead.
Ryanair said: “The 42 million passengers who will fly with Ryanair this year have
listened to real trip advice and choose Ryanair for the lowest fares and the best punctuality.”

Aranyból készített kávéfőzőt a Capresso
A világ egyik legdrágább kávéfőzőjét készítette el a különleges gépeiről híres
Capresso vállalat. A speciális masina egy komplett kávéház kínálatát képes lefőzni, a luxust
kedvelők számára pedig nyilván az sem mellékes, hogy a kávéfőzőt 24 karátos arannyal

A látványos gép az Impressa F9 Automatic Coffee Center nevet kapta. A 24 karátos
aranylapokkal díszített szerkezet valóban mindent tud, amit egy otthoni gépnek tudnia kell, az

A man was working on his motorcycle on his patio and his wife was in the kitchen,
when the motorcycle accidentally slipped into gear. The man, still holding onto the handle
bars, was dragged through the glass patio doors by the motorbike into the house. His wife,
hearing the crash, ran into the dining room and found her husband lying on the floor, cut and
bleeding. She ran to the phone and summoned the ambulance. Because they lived on a fairly
large hill, the wife went down the several flights of stairs to the street to escort the paramedicsto her husband.
After the ambulance arrived and transported the man to the hospital, the wife pushed
the motorcycle outside. Seeing that petrol was spilled on the floor, she got some paper towels,
cleaned up the petrol, and threw the towels in the toilet. The man was treated and released to
come home. Upon looking at the shattered patio door and his damaged motorcycle, he became
despondent, went to the bathroom, sat down on the toilet and smoked a cigarette. After
finishing the cigarette, he flipped it between his legs into the toilet bowl. The wife, who was
in the kitchen, heard the loud explosion and her husband screaming.
She ran into the bathroom and found that her husband’s trousers had been blown away
and he was suffering burns on the back of his legs. After she had called the ambulance again
the very same paramedic crew was dispatched. The paramedics loaded the husband on to the
stretcher and began carrying him to the street. While they were going down the stairs, one of
them asked the wife how the husband had burned himself. She told them and the paramedicsstarted laughing so hard that one of them slipped dumping the husband out from the stretcher.
He fell down the remaining stairs and broke his arm.
