The DOMINO 1000 is modular and has been expressly
planned for use in square, or linear multiple units,where each
single element can be independentelyfocused in the vertical
plane.

Floodlight for backdrops and cycsThe DOMINO 1000 uses linear
halogen lamps. Itsasymmetrical light distribution is particularly
suited togive uniform washes on large areas of backcloth, bothfrom
above (suspended), or below (resting directly on
the stage floor).
MechanicsThe shape of the DOMINO 1000 and its exclusivespring
locking system allow fast and accurate
focusing, both from the stage floor and overhead.The absence of
knobs on the sides of the unit allowsthe source of the light to be
homogeneous when
several units are used side by side.
CoolingThe "labyrinth" system used for this equipment
allowsexcellent ventilation of both gels and housing, whileensuring
no spill from the body even in the darkest
conditions. The DOMINO 1000, when used with 1000 W
lamps and good quality colour filters, can guaranteecontinued
excellent performance in all positions. Inmost cases, 1250 W lamps
can also be used.
SafetyA wire grid protects the lamp and stops it from fallingif
it breaks. This grid also ensures that the colour
filters cannot suffer from accidental damage. Allelectrical
parts are resistant to high temperatures.The power cable is
toughened silicon insulated withflame resistant outer sheathing,
according to CEI
safety regulations.
Opticsthe asymmetrical curve of the reflector has beenspecially
designed to givo maximum output anduniformity in the vertical
piane. The mirrored sidesincrease the sideways spread of the light
thus
ensuring a better colour mix when using adjacentunits.
Filter holderThis filter holder softens the edges of the light
onone side while a barn-door, on the other side, allows a
cleaner focusing of the light on the desired surface.
Accessories
The Domino floodlight system is either reversibile andmodular.
It can therefore be assembled in multiple
units:
2 x 2 structure with adjustable yoke for 4 elements insquare,
with clutch disk and locking lever for manualfocusing (art. D 2x2
M)
2 x 2 structure similar to the previous one, but withendless
screw gear on the two rotating axes for polecommand (art. D 2x2
P)
4 x 1 bar for 4 linear elements
overhead
