Hi,

Years ago I was shopping in a groovy gift shop in Sydney carrying a fantastic tote bag I had made at home for myself. The woman who owned the shop stopped me and said ‘I will take 24 of those if you will make them for me’, and so began Penny Scallan Australia.

At this stage I had 2 children Jess (now 12) and Oliver (now 9), and we have since added to our family with Charlie who is 5.

I started my working life as a fashion designer after completing a Degree in Fashion at the renowned East Sydney Tech. Having children has opened up a whole new avenue for my creativity and I have now been creating children’s products for 7 years.

Over the past few years the range has grown and so has my brand and we are now available in hundreds of retailers throughout Australia and Internationally.

I hope you enjoy my products as much as I have enjoyed designing them for you.
