ABSTRAK
2016. Yakub Effransnandus Senduk. Pengantar Karya Tugas Akhir ini berjudul “Perancangan
Promosi Candi Cetho Melalui Desain Komunikasi Visual Coffee Table Book”. Adapun
permasalahan yang dikaji adalah : (1) Bagaimana merancang coffee table book yang tepat,
efektif, dan komunikatif untuk mengenalkan Candi Cetho sehingga menumbuhkan minat dan
rasa ingin tahu target audience untuk lebih mengenal dan datang ke Candi Cetho? (2)
Bagaimanakah merancang media pendukung yang tepat untuk mempromosikan coffee table
book tersebut ? Tujuan dari perancangan ini adalah merancang coffee table book yang tepat,
efektif, dan komunikatif untuk mengenalkan Candi Cetho sehingga menumbuhkan minat dan
rasa ingin tahu target audience untuk lebih mengenal dan datang ke Candi Cetho. Melalui
media coffee table book ini diharapkan dapat menarik masyrakat untuk datang dan lebih
mengenal Candi Cetho.

ABSTRACT
2016.Yakub Effransnandus Senduk. The final project is entitled Design of Candi Cetho
Promotion by Visual Communication Design Coffee Table Book. There are some examined
problems: (1) How to design appropriate, effective, and communicative coffee table book to
introduce Candi Cetho to audience in order to make them curious and have interest so that
they want to come and learn more about Candi Cetho? (2) How to design the appropriate
supporting media to promote the coffee table book?
The purpose of the design is making plans to promote the appropriate, effective and
communicative coffee table book to audience in order to make them curious and have interest
so that they want to come and learn more about Candi Cetho. I hope that people are
interested to come and learn more about Candi Cetho by this coffee table book as a media.
