UJI CHI-KUADRAT
Uji chi-kuadrat dimaksudkan untuk menentukan apakah persamaan distribusi peluang yang telah dipilih dapat mewakili distribusi statistik sampel data yang dianalisis. Pengambilan keputusan uji ini menggunakan parameter chi-kuadrat, oleh karena itu disebut uji chi kuadrat, yang dapat dihitung dengan :

G = jumlah sub kelompokOi = frekuensi yang diamati pada kelas yang samaEi = frekuensi yang diharapkan sesuai dengan pembagian kelasnya
Prosedur uji Chi-Kuadrat adalah :1). Urutkan data pengamatan (dari besar ke kecil atau sebaliknya).2). Kelompokkan data menjadi G sub-group, minimal 4 sub group tiap-tiap data pengamatan.3). Jumlahkan data pengamatan sebesar Oi tiap-tiap sub group.4). Jumlahkan data dari persamaan distribusi yang digunakan sebesar Ei.5). Tiap-tiap sub group hitung nilai :

Uji Smirnov - Kolmogorov
Uji kecocokan Smirnov - Kolmogorov, sering juga disebut uji kecocokan non parametrik(non parametric test), karena pengujiannya tidak menggunakan fungsi distribusi tertentu. Prosedurnya adalah sebagai berikut :
1). Urutkan data ( dari besar ke kecil atau sebaliknya ) dan tentukan besarnya peluang dari masing-masing data tersebut ;X1 P(X1)X2 P(X1)Xm P(Xm)Xn P(Xn)
2). Tentukan nilai masing-masing peluang teoritisnya dari hasil penggambaran (persamaan distribusinya) :X1 P'(X1)X2 P'(X1)Xm P'(Xm)Xn P'(Xn)
3). Dari kedua nilai peluang tersebut tentukan selisih terbesarnya antara peluang pengamatan dengan peluang teoritisnya. D = maksimum [P(Xm) - P'(Xm)]
4). Berdasarkan tabel nilai kritis (Smirnov-Kolmogorov test) tentukan harga Do
Apabila D lebih kecil dari Do maka distribusi teoritis yang digunakan untuk menentukan persamaandistribusi dapat diterima, apabila D lebih besar dari Do maka distribusi teoritis yang digunakan untuk menentukan persamaan distribusi tidak dapat diterima.
