PIA’S CABIN

AN ARTIST’S STUDO BASED ON A CUBIST PAINTING

OBJECTIVEThe objective of this project was to design a studio/gallery

space for Pia Picasso, a fictional descendant of Pablo Picasso who wanted a structure based on her iconic

relative’s painting style. The painting used for this cabin is a work by Salvador Luca, a Puerto Rican born, American

raised artist. In his own words:

“My intention as an artist is to create abstract images with the passion and movement of my colorful heritage.”
