Its that time of year again! It is coming down to the final shopping weeks of the Christmas and holiday season. Don’t forget your service people; even a kind word this time of year is appreciated. Consider inviting someone that has no family in the area to your family gatherings this year, and then check out Page 10 for a delicious butter cookie recipe that
is easy to make, then invite everyone to help decorate! Kindness is catching, so spread the joy.
The Pioneer Shopper wants to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season!

A Non-summer fairytale area 6. Oh holiday conifer 7. Ten plus two twenty-four hour periods of holiday festivity 8. Hey tiny city in Israel 9. In a remote location in a barn stall
Riddle Me This: Sheldon and Amy were cleaning up after a wonderful Christmas dinner. “What a great day,” Amy said, “only 365 days until the next one.” “No, it’s more,” Sheldon corrected. How?
Each of the clues below describes a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band or artist. Can you name them? 1. The organized civil force tasked with maintaining order that is frequently seen at doughnut shops. 2. Orenthal Simpson and the reddish-yellow sweet citrus fruit drink. 3. Winter, spring, summer and fall. 4. The drip catching, round cardboard disc printed with interesting quips, usually distributed at pubs. 5. John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr. 6. (We would like to thank The Sparta Mag-azine for this article, November 2015 issue)Jason Lewis had made several attempts to get hired to sell cars at a dealership where his friend was working. He wasn’t successful in the beginning. He kept trying anyway because he had one of those gut feelings that this was some-thing that he would really enjoy doing. It wasn’t until a new owner bought that dealership that he was given a chance to sell cars. That was in July 1998. Today, in case you have not heard, Jason Lewis is one of the new co-owners of Bill Boruff Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram in Sparta. It has been a long road, but it’s a road that Jason has been happy to travel. “I was about to quit at first,” he said. “It took me 7 days to sell my first car. It was the 6th day and I thought, well, this isn’t gonna work for me. I was going to quit. But then, on day 7, I sold one... in the rain! I remember what kind of car it was.”Since those humble beginnings, Jason leaned all he could about the car in-dustry and working in just about every position available at the dealership. He’s worked in the business office and as a sales manager. He gained experience working at different dealerships. In Au-gust of 2005, he got a call to go to work at East Tennessee Dodge at Crossville. He was that dealership’s general man-ager. Last May, he became co-owner of Bill Boruff. He’s not new to owning a deal-
ership, Dayton Supercenter, in Dayton, Tennessee, is also under his wing. “We are serious about what we are trying to accomplish here,” Jason said. “The in-ventory here has tripled since May.” Bill Boruff Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram has a diverse inventory. “Our main focus is trucks, there is no doubt about that,” said Jason. While still carrying the Bill Boruff name on the door and still offering up popcorn to customers, Jason has made some new goals. When Jason came to Bill Boruff, there were 34 employees. Today, there are 53 employees. It doesn’t take a long talk with Jason to find out that he is willing to give the opportunity to those who are interested in getting into the car business. He finds success in the em-ployees being trained and grow in the field. He is satisfied to see the one who needs a job to pay the electric bill apply, get hired, and succeed in selling cars. “I like helping people get into the car busi-ness,” he said. “We want to provide the best car buying experience anyone has ever had. When I say that, I sincerely mean that,” he said. “We are going to create as many jobs as we can create, help provide op-portunity for the community to grow and take a lot pride in all we do and provide the best experience anybody has ever had purchasing a vehicle.”Bill Boruff Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram offers new vehicles as well as a consid-erably large selection of pre-owned vehi-
cles. There is a service department staff with 3 full time Master Mechanics who are qualified to work on anything from the AC to electronics, bumper to bumper. “We are a Grade A service,” said Rob-ert Hawkins, Service Manager and Bill Boruff employee of 35 years. “We want to treat people right. It’s not something that is just written on the building, the company really steps and we do it right.”
Bill Boruff Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram is located off Highway 111, across from the Walmart. They can be found online at www.billboruff.com.
Jason Lewis started selling cars in 1998. Now he co-owns Bill Boruff Chrys-ler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram.

Monthly Horoscope: SagittariusDecember 2015
The Moon conjoins Jupiter on December 3 and you may strive to do everything at once. Rethink this when Mercury squares Jupiter on December 4. The December 11 New Moon is yours to succeed at work and then enjoy with friends. You’ll face no obstacles or quar-rels. Do what you like, smile, and be easygoing. Your mind may be on money around the
Full Moon on December 25, but the holiday season will have penetrated your heart and let you have a magnificent time no matter what. Share all the goodness that comes your way
and general good luck that attracts even more.
Weekly Pet Horoscope: SagittariusDecember 7, 2015 through December 13, 2015
You want one thing but your pet clearly wants another on Monday. Whoever wins will prob-ably gloat! You’re extremely compassionate when it comes to animal rights on Tuesday through Thursday, so you might volunteer your time or donate money to a worthy cause. Take things slowly on Friday and Saturday, especially if you have a sick, injured, or older pet. If your pal can’t keep up, you might have to carry him or her, or find an alternate way
to get where you’re going.

December 15, 2015 The Pioneer Shopper McMinnville, Tennessee, Page 15
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the houseNot a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there. The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads. And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap. When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash. The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below. When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer. With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!“Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen! On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall! Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!”
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roofThe prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound. He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack. His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry! His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!”
Clement Clarke Moore (1779 - 1863) wrote the poem Twas the night be-fore Christmas also called “A Visit from St. Nicholas” in 1822.
