HISTORY: POLAIR GROUP OF COMPANIES

1987 – an agreement to establish Sovitalprodmash was signed, a joint venture of Volzhskprodmash production enterprise and Fata Engineering, Italy.

1991 – Sovitalprodmash acquired technical documentation and a license to make Surfrigo refrigerated cabinets, Vercos cooldrooms and Uniblock Zanotti monoblocks.

2003 – The plant’s form of property changes to a privately held company. Products under POLAIR enter production.

2008 – PepsiCo certificate for P500 and P1000 refrigerated cabinets with lower refrigerating aggregate layout is granted. The company actively penetrates the markets of the CIS: Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus.

2009 – European CE certificate is granted by the TUV; the company enters foreign markets.

2010 – controlling interest in RADA, a professional technological equipment maker, is purchased; production modernisation under way.

2011 – SNAIGE refrigerator plant (Alytus, Lithuania) is bought. POLAIR group of companies includes Sukharevka, the leader in comprehensive outfitting of public catering facilities.

POLAIR products are built at Sovitalprodmash, the largest European production complex, state-of-the-art and highly automated.The plant has a full-cycle production with a conveyer assembly line, and is fitted out with production equipment from leading global manufacturers.Components provided for the plant are subject to thorough selection process and 100 per cent quality control. The plant uses domestic parts and those provided by leading global vendors. A design department and a unique modern test laboratory are available at the plant, with the lab rivalling even government certification bodies in terms of the list of parameters being controlled. TM POLAIR retail refrigerating equipment is used in stores of all forms, as well as for public catering facilities.

ТМ RADA PRODUCTION

RADA equipment – domestically made neutral and heat equipment, refrigerating and electromechanical equipment for restaurants, cafeterias, bars. RADA equipment is sold in Russia and the CIS since 2001. All products are made at the Saransk-based plant, with design works being completed in Moscow. From the very start, we aimed at creating equipment compatible with the strictest European standards and capable of successfully competing with Western brands. Not only did the plant see complete production facilities replacement, but all elements of the production process were thoroughly changed as well. Today, the plant making RADA products is outfitted with production equipment from AMADA, Japan.In 2006, the plant was granted a DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 international certificate for the quality management system in place.

This family satisfy all modern requirements in professional equipment.The use of coloured metal in addition to stainless steel allows a significant price cut.

Snaige plant was established in Lithuania in 1963 and based on Alytus engineering plant.TM Snaige present high-quality consumer refrigerators, as well as commercial refrigerators and coldrooms. The company uses new progressive technologies compatible with environment protection requirements. Due to active implementation of modern technologies, the plant is able to increase production capacity, improve product quality and labour conditions, and decrease production costs and labour intensiveness. The plant employs about 650 workers.

The company has its own design department and a state-of-the-art unique test lab.

Today, we introduce new models of glass-door refrigerated cabinets with lower aggregate placement. They were successfully tested in Great Britain to comply with PepsiCo standards.

Refrigerated cabinets, monoblocks and split units were granted European electrical safety standard certificates (СЕ).

POLAIR holding has a dealer certification and monitoring program in place. The most successful dealers are awarded statuses of POLAIR Certified Dealer and POLAIR Certified Maintenance Centre.

ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY

Polair does everything in its power to ensure environmental safety of its equipment. All refrigerating products were switched to ozone-safe R134a and R404A refrigerants according to the Montreal Protocol on Substances That Deplete the Ozone Layer sighed by Russia.

Polair actively pursues implementation of energy-saving technologies.

In order to ensure efficient energy use, some refrigerated cabinet models are equipped with power-saving controllers that can effectively maintain temperature in the refrigerated space within the pre-set range, and allow to use the devices in “day” and “night” modes.
