Aim:

Objectives:

Together with Madshus AS develop methods and test facilities necessary for tailor-made racing ski production

Develop know-how for construction and production of Nordic racing skies which enhances the performance of the skier.

Develop test tools needed for production of optimized and tailor-made skies.

Injection-moulded high-precision componentsfor satellite communicationBackground A low price for the outdoor unit is a necessity for the

commercial success of a broadband satellite solution The outdoor unit consists of a sender, a receiver and an

antenna The price can be reduced considerably if critical components

(waveguides) can be injection moulded in plastics

Specifications High geometrical precision and reproducibility, and a

low thermal expansion A metallised surface with high electrical conductivity,

low roughness and a even layer thickness Low price

Injection moulded high precision componentsfor satellite communication (cont.)

ResultsPerformance of injection moulded and metallised critical component (sender filter) is well within specifications. Reproducibility of critical dimensions are within 2-3 µm (~ 0.1 %).
