Perspectives & Actions of Urbexes
Equipments
City regarding to drew routes and identified boundaries inside daily life passivates man, ruptures sensual relationship between environment and people. Packaged city lifes are presented to people with spaces specified by capitalist society. Numb man who is included the system plays role in physical structure and content of city with its shallow desires. The built environment created by these desires need to be collapsed (détournement).
According to situationists, with the saying of Canjuers and Debord; liberalising from “daily life ideologies” firstly needs overwhelming constant “psycho-functions” that enjoined by built environment. For this reason, situationists chase after passionate overthrowing practises which will provide détournement of urbanization and known forms of architecture. They aspire after temporary situations, atmospheres that “negate” or “deform” structure of the city. (1)
Urban Explorers who infiltrate invisible areas of city such as active buildings, abandoned buildings, construction sites, drains, transportation tunnels, utility tunnels. Associated with “urban hacking”, they experience an alternative city practice while taking health, security, arresting risks. In a word, they discover new city perspectives beyond presented system control. Urbexes are wondering mechanism providing luxury vision and sharing their extreme experience, archiving modern city revolutionists.
It is aimed to be reached this archived alternative inventory by city public strikingly. But this presentation is not classic museum experience, this functioning is getting different reactions in conjunction with your subjective hacking level. There are no rules here, transparent usage is dominating over whole structure. Users can shape their own program freely and explore the waste-to-energy plant
as a museum. There are alternative routes in circulation, but users who is member of system of rules squeeze between predetermined functions and exhibition organization and they gain superficial performance from building.
Jeremy Blakeslee, speaking of the Bethlehem Steel plant, via email, on November 21, 2009:“These places become like a drug for some reason. Places of this magnitude get you high, a combination of the history, the architecture, the light moving through, the smell of one hundred years of motor oil in the internal combustion blowing engines all over the floor like blood. And you are just another layer in the history of the place.”

To explore the urban explorer’s perception of city’s x-ray feature, these videos emphasize the nonvisible parts of urban environment. For the first video, you can see all the solid materials as transparent so the plant part can be visible from museum. On the other hand, second video enables the 360o view video experience that is very popular for augmented reality technology and its extensions.Physical Model

Urban design in Buyukada through studio theme “Transpose”
Istanbul | Buyukada (Princess Island)
Urban | Narrative
11
The main propose gathering ecocentric life instead of antropocetric system. Today, we are in the organisation that human shows power to human and other species. Our behaviours are under controlled by the human has power. This situation reflects to urban choices and architectural settings. We’re all living in the same forms, sitting as same body shape, learning from the same education. However; this project presents a tissue sample from a utopic (maybe dystopic) sceneraio. This sample is Buyuada because this island has very critical features such as it is neither metropolitan city nor rural village. For me, it has a special name: Technologic Rural. Because, technology can be used for providing
justice between human-being and animals and also other creatures. This utopic sample is transferring with narrative text whose character walking on island and passing through architectural projects designed by me. In the current situation trade, residential buildings, public spaces accumulated in the north of island. This setting lead to make south more unsafely and undefined. Under these circumstances, horse owners and horsekeepers harms these animals. Nowadays deaths of horses, damaging treatments increased. Horses are worked over working hours. Also, people working for pheatons show incongruity to islanders. Their unkind treatments, gathering much more
money from tourists, harrasment cases causes protests. With this project, all hotels are transforming to residential for islanders. People staying in this historic buildings helps turists as a guide (like Olsh’s family). Also they provide need of tourists. They are experience the historic part of island then going to Touristic Communal Area to spent the night or camp. There is no hierarchy in Touristic Communal Area, tourists can socialize, find food and beverage and entertain. Horses are free in the island, they are not used for working for people anymore. The technology of island provides everything for need of horses in Çarşı. There are feeding, caring, exercising and resting area for horses in there.
There are a number of examples in relation to pheaton profession on the world. However, most of these are used for entertainment. Also, their shuttle route is not longer than Buyukada’s. Topographical level difference, work hours, route distance and living conditions are not suitable for this profession in compare with world. In the south-east of island, horses and people live in unhealthy conditions. The horsekeeper breathe the same air with horses. They are living on top of horses and there is no seperator on the floor. The “glanders” disease is spreading to island because of it. This statistics shows that, horses are not living in fair environment. The perception of horses should analyse and design for horses’ comfort not for people.
Senses of Horse

TelepheatonIf the user staying on the painted area, signal sends to telepheaton and it comes down. Then the vehicle slows down to proper speed.
13
Free horses and other animals can go and use Çarşı for food and care. Çarşı has no only one enterance, it has accesible gaps to enter on the lowrer stairs. Voluntary people can do care and feeding of horses here. This area is where the most contact between horses and people emotionally happens. The technology level of mankind is highly applied to Çarşı for horses’ benefit. There is a lineer pool that horses can experience tactual and visual process. Time dimension is bending and horse completed pool process is not the same horse anymore. In addition, there is a darker place after pool. A number of speaker applied here and horses can rest and get the sound therapy. These speakers located specially because of horses 360o hearing skill. (they can rotate their ears). On top of caring area, people work for install the materials coming from pier to lifting platform. This kind of people work for horses but they can not contact with horses directly. Also there is food&beverage, sleeping places , telepheaton stop and observatoin tower in upstairs.
In the scenario of this project, hotels are closed down because of rent-seeking setting of current Buyukada. Tourists coming for experience historic texture and nature of island are staying in Touristic Communal Area. Scenario has ecocentric features; plants are not damaged for constructing or animals are not used for human benefits. Also in between people, there is no hierarchy in social area. Everyone can reach to the same productions, living in the same rights and staying in the spaces in the same coniditions. Even in time and location dimensions, everybody is equal. Because of that, residential units dedicated to tourists and they are moving in the rail slowly. One unit completes one tour in 24 hours. If they need something they can provide from TKAmarketplace or people wants to spend their time in Touristic Communal Area can go to TKAsocial. There are two telepheaton stops in Touristic Communal Area territory. (one for out of rail one for TKAsocial).
Observation Tower for Telepheaton and horses
People can eat and drink here, when they come to spend time with horses
The upstairs workers loads materials to lifting platform
Horses are able to exercise without supporting their own body weight. It builds muscle tone and improves
fitness without putting pressure
The downstairs workers feed horses and do the care of horses. This area is where the most relationship
between horses and people happens.

Materials comes from sea coast , this is necessary because Çarşı is located behind the island and there
is no vehicle network for transportation.

Kahvaltı kokusu mu bu? Galiba… Seslerini duyuyorum sanki. Annem turistlerin buraya eşyalarıyla geldiğini, birkaç gün adayı gezdiklerini, o süre içinde de burada kaldıklarını anlatırdı. Burada nasıl uyuyorlar? Üşümüyorlar mı? Nerede bu insanlar, bir an önce bulup Dab’i sormam lazım. Hemen yanındaki yapının giriş katına girdi ve yaklaşık on, on beş kişiyi uyurken buldu. Gökyüzünü izlerken Dab’i düşündü. Sana diyorum, bahsettiğin arkadaşın Dab, ne yaptı sana?-Boşver şimdi Dab’i. Tay denir onlara. O baktığın ise iki buçuk yaşında. Yani insan ömrüyle oranlarsak seninle yaşıt sayılır. Bu arada bizlerin bir ismi yok. İnsanlar bize öyle seslense de biz gerek duymayız ama merak etme senin kokun beynimize kazınır. Gel seni bu şirin tayla tanıştırayım. Olsh’u tanıştırdıktan sonra birkaç arkadaşını toplayan yetişkin at Olsh’a göz kulak olmaları yönünde talimatlar verip Bakım alanından dışarı çıktı. Olsh’a nasıl bacak kaslarını zinde tuttuklarını gösterdi. …SON

Movement is the action which belongs to objects when changing the coordinates in space-time fabric. Man identify the movement with moments which is the section of time. However, this action creates its own volume and density beyond perception of man. If you are in the volume of movement, it means you began to time travel. It is not important which moment you are in. The significant factor is that you are staying in a space which belongs both future and past.
stroboSCOPE as an energy institude analyses the changes of energy sources in the world and research about them. This analytic changes reflect directly to form of stroboSCOPE. Now, building is alone with nature anymore.*stroboscope: a device for studying the motion of a body, especially a body in rapid revolution or vibration, by making the motion appear to slow down or stop, as by periodically illuminating the body or viewing it through widely spaced openings in a revolving disk.

Cold is the condition, which human being is always got smaller physically, where our perspective puckered up and where our landscape got narrowed. (we walked in the cold by in drafting our head or we blink our eyes to protect them from snow) In Memu meadows, this cold spread out into the landscape with its wide meadows or dark background of forest. A space is suggested that turns the “harsh cold” into a volume, which is hanged in the air and get lost, melted in the fiction and turns into a nature phases, in the Memu where phases of the nature can read from its landscape. Hanged, pulls off the volumes from the earth and blurs the space by its skin which extends from waist level to above; gets lost in the landscape. The landscape continues without an interruption on the ground. In perspective view, it is not definite where the space starts and ends.
The user is exposed to feel the cold and the landscape of Memu in each spatial change. Openings and structural perspectives (skin pipes and upper courtyard) extricates users from puckering in cold and invite them to wander and enlarge in it. The structure is seen as blur/hallucination from a distance, presents a program which is undetected from outside; only perceived at close range with its 4 volumes. Countries have been in a competition for fossil fuel for many years. But this issue is only a part of history of mankind. Global risks are transforming day by day while world sources are consuming. As an alternative for chipping from the earth like fossil fuels, using renewable and sustainable energy sources and increasing their methods should be aim of today. To save earth from this risk, each new produced function should be self-sufficient and a part of effective energy producing as a running organism.
Science, architecture, design, art, engineering should mix in the living and breathing body.
FBJ^ is the re-identified version of the factors above with columns and beams. Two axis superposed founded on directions of Street in Caddebostan. A system projected which supplies its own energy from photovoltaic panels and feed sea-going vessel with biodiesel from photobioreactors. The vessels approaching to FBJ^ supply their passengers and fuels from there
and update themselves every time. They circulate between the production modules in this process. Also, it is possible to reach to public place and experience all structure without using any mass transportation vehicle. Ramps are used for disabled people on the ways going to laboratories and perceivable surface are also used for visually impaired people. Control of photobioreactors are implemented by pipes of single-centered laboratory. Catwalk floors are placed to the producing area for possible situations
