• When a project location has been selected for the wind farm.– Why at this stage?

• Wind turbine components is becoming bigger and heavier, were detailed study is needed as the grid connection for wind farm.

• Importance to start logistics planning at this early stage is due to the fact that cost improvements can be made, as well as applications for modifications on public roads and private areas can be submitted.

– Why so early?• Because wind projects are build on windy mountains, where these roads are normally hilly, and curves

too narrow.

– We can modify it !!• Yes this can be possible, but you have to get approval first check bridges load capacity, environmental

protected area, private property passages etc., then next to calculate the cost for modifications. Some times cost can be covered, but to expensive to affect the earning of project or get approval.
