ISSUE 14
S.E.E (Shopping for Education Enrichment) Programthrough Great Lakes Scrip
Are you having a crowd for Christmas this year? Be sure to come to Pilgrim
first to pick up grocery cards for your holiday dinner shopping! We have giftcards to Walmart, HEB, Randalls and Kroger! Through the Scrip program,Pilgrim receives a percentage back when you use the gift cards. It doesn’t
cost you anything additional, all cards are face value. We keep a supply of grocery cards on hand in the office for everyday shopping. It is an easy way
to earn money for the school doing something we all have to do anyway!Just stop by and pick up your cards anytime during school office hours,
6:30am - 6pm!
On the last 2 pages of the newsletter you will see an order form fornumerous retailers that participate in this program. You can also go to
www.glscrip.com for a more extensive list of retailers. Christmas will behere before you know it! Gift cards make great Christmas gifts for those
hard-to-buy-for people in your life! There are lots to choose from in a varietyof denominations. Orders must be in the school office or ordered on
www.glscrip.com by 8:30am every Tuesday in order to receive it by Thursday
of that same week. Plan early! Orders received closer to the holiday may bedelayed due to the increase in volume at Great Lakes Scrip.
We will include order forms in the newsletter from now until close to
Christmas for your shopping convenience. If you have any questions, pleasecall the school office. We are happy to help make your holiday shopping
experience go as smoothly as possible!
Over the last several years, parents have requested a list of gift cards that
teachers/staff would like for Christmas. We have updated the list and haveincluded it in the newsletter right before the order forms. This list in no way
implies that you are expected to buy gift cards for teachers/staff. It issimply a list compiled for parents who have requested a list of suggestions,
and ordering these cards through the S.E.E. Program benefits the school aswell.
We will be placing an order tomorrow, December 7th, by 8:30 a.m. Please
bring your orders to the school office, or place your online orders prior to8:30 a.m. After tomorrow, the last day to order is December 14th! The lastday of school before Christmas break is December 17th. If you are ordering
gift cards for class parties, etc, you may want to consider ordering by the 7thto ensure your order arrives on time! Orders placed on December 14th may
be delayed until the afternoon of the 17th due to high order volume!
Please call or come by the school office if you have any questions!
Thank you for your support!

While shopping the sales for Christmas this year,
please keep in mind the Spring Auction,
“Hollywood Nights - A Walk on the Red Carpet”,
on March 5th! We are very excited about this year’s
auction! Also keep in mind those “unwanted”
gifts you may receive at Christmas.
Consider donating them
to the auction!

Pilgrim’s Annual Children’s Christmas Shopping Day was a great success!
We hope everyone enjoys the lovely gifts that the children have personally
shopped for and hand-picked for their loved ones!
Special thanks to all of our volunteers that helped with the shopping day!
Your help was very much appreciated!
Very special thanks to Sarah Carpentieri-Asbury, Chamonix Guevara andElizabeth Kee for planning and preparing as well as staffing and overseeing
the shopping day. A lot of preparation goes into this day and we are so
appreciative of the dedicated helpers we have this year! Thank you!!!!!!
Thank you to everyone who came out to help us celebrate Jesus’ Birthday! The early childhood
students did a wonderful job singing of the birth of Jesus, the true meaning of Christmas!Special thank you Cindy Marotzke and Elizabeth Bertrand for all of the work that was put intothis special service and for the luncheon afterwards and to all of our early childhood teachers
and support staff for the time you spend teaching the children songs of our Savior’s birth!
