PRACTICA N2 LA TARJETA MADRE (MAINBOARD) Es conocida como placa base, placa madre, mainboard o motherboard. La tarjeta madre contiene los conectores que se necesitan para acoplar los demás componentes, por ejemplo: los conectores para el microprocesador, para la memoria RAM, para discos duros, etc. Una tarjeta madre ha sido equipada con un juego de controladores, llamado chipset, con el fin de permitir que todos los componentes puedan interconectarse.
