Then in 1982,Khosla co-founded Sun Microsystems (SUN is the acronym for the Stanford University Network),along with stanford classmates.

Khosla served as the first chairman and CEO of Sun microsystems from 1982 to 1984, when he left the company to become a venture capitalist.

In 1986,he became a general partner of the venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers where he remained through the early 2000s. In 2004,Khosla formed his own firm,Khosla ventures,which focussed on venture investments in various technology sectors,most notably clean technology. He also invested in an Indian microfinance company ,SKS microfinance, to lend small loans to poor women in rural India. In 2006,Khosla along with his wife Neeru co-founded the CK-12 Foundation, an educational website.

Conseve is a NGO which started in the pool of sewage and garbage.In synergy with the local Resident Welfare Associations (RWA), the Ahujas would collect the waste ofseveral colonies in a park and then segregate it.Wet kitchen waste would be convertedinto compost while dry refuse like polythene bags would be put aside her to the idea ofdoing something about plastic bags.

Over the next two years Ahuja experimented with recycling the bags. She tried weaving them together to create a tarpaulin like covering for the sacks of slum dwellers. Another time she tried pasting pieces of the polyethylene onto canvas and cardboard. She saw that a thicker fabric could be made.

She suddenly got strucked about the fact that they could make handbags using thecollected materials.jk

Ahuja's project has created employment for several unprivileged people and alsobecome a solution for solving the problem of plastic waste. The range has now been extended to creating footwear, cushions,jewellery,lamps andboxes
