What is a composite?A composite material is a material made from two or moreconstituent materials that remain separated in the final structure.

The new material may be preferred for many reasons: materials

which are stronger, lighter, or less expensive when compared totraditional materials .

LaminatesA laminate is a assembly of pliesof reinforced polymer. Each ply isformed by a polymer acting asmatrix and a fiber acting asreinforcement. The polymer in thematrix can be termoplastic ortermoset, and there are a lot ofdifferent type of fiber, depending

of the material on which aremade.

    ! Bad impact strength

    ! Interlaminar crack

! With a small impact, the tensile strength decreases around afifty percent
