Strategies to support members through interest groups eg. walking, sedentary behaviour, residen5al care homes Objec*ves: The HEPA Ac5ve Ageing working group aims to Iden5fy the main barriers (social, physical, spa5al, financial) to sport and physical ac5vity par5cipa5on by older adults. Outline strategies for increasing par5cipa5on in health enhancing physical ac5vity for older adults Iden5fy specific needs in the area of research, evidence and prac5ce with regard to a range of effec5ve interven5ons Provide a plaWorm for the exchange of prac5ce, training and educa5on and the dissemina5on of scien5fic knowledge to policy makers and prac55oners. Ac*ons to support ProFouND and falls preven*on ProFouND ac5vi5es have been disseminated to member groups and organisa5ons via: HEPA Ac5ve Ageing members contact group (60 members) The annual HEPA Conference (Zurich 2014 and Istanbul October 2015) Linkedin electronic communica5ons network. The HEPA AA working group is challenged by being a small working group with no funding and as yet, the impact of the work to promote Ac5ve Ageing and Falls preven5on is unclear. However, we will con5nue with dissemina5on of ProFouND tools and learning
