雙簧管獨奏：莫思奇ObOe SOlOiSt: SOphie MOk

莫思奇，生於香港。五歲開始習琴，11歲與雙簧管結緣。2010年畢業於香港浸會大學音樂系，主修雙簧管演奏及教學，獲取學士學位後隨即獲邀加入美國科羅拉多大學碩士生駐校室樂團「芝諾比雅木管五重奏」，並獲全額獎學金修讀雙簧管演奏碩士學位及在校內任助理教師。

莫思奇熱衷於室樂音樂，常與不同室樂團合作，曾為作曲家提切利的作品《愛與生命之歌》（為女高音艾蘭．麥克莫妮及木管室樂團「Small Wind Ensemble」而寫）作首演及錄音，並由艾蘭．麥克莫妮指導。2011年夏，莫思奇獲邀到泰國曼谷的亞洲雙簧協會研討會舉行三重奏音樂會。

室樂以外，莫思奇的管弦樂團經驗亦極為豐富，曾為大學交響樂團、管樂交響樂團及歌劇樂團的首席雙簧管；又與不同樂團合作，包括﹕科羅拉多馬勒音樂節樂團、美國博爾德交響樂團、泛亞交響樂團及香港節慶管弦樂團等。曾與香港浸會大學旗下的巴羅克室樂團Collegium Musicum Hong Kong到北京中央音樂學院參與音樂節，並與該校的合唱團攜手演出。2010年，她以獨奏身分與Collegium Musicum Hong Kong演出由香港藝術節主辦的教育音樂會。

莫思奇師承世界各地雙簧管好手，包括﹕Peter Cooper （科羅拉多交響樂團）、James Brody（卡梅拉塔木管五重奏）、譚子輝（香港愛樂管樂團）及陳國昌。她亦師隨巴松管手Yoshiyuki Ishikawa（科羅拉多大學博爾德分校）及圓號手李少霖（香港管弦樂團）學習室樂。

Sophie Sze-ki Mok, oboist, was born in Hong Kong, began studying oboe when she was 11, and piano when she was 5. After graduated with a bachelor degree in Oboe Performance and Pedagogy from Hong Kong Baptist University, with an invitation in 2010, Mok became a member of Zenobia Woodwind Quintet as the graduate residency ensemble for the University of Colorado Boulder. Meanwhile, she was pursuing her master’s degree on oboe performance with full scholarship as the Teaching Assistant in the University of Colorado.

Enthusiastic in playing chamber music, Mok has performed frequently with different chamber ensembles. She participated in the world premiere and recording session of Songs of Love and Life for Soprano and Small Wind Ensemble by Frank Ticheli, directed by Allan McMurray who the composition is dedicated to. In summer 2011, Mok was invited to hold a trio recital in the Asian Double Reed Associa-tion 2011 Conference in Bangkok.

Besides chamber music, Mok is also experienced in performing orchestral repertoire. She was the principal oboist for University Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, and Opera Orchestra. Mok has performed with ensembles like Colorado Mahler Festival, Boulder Symphony, Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Festival Orchestra. When she was a member of Collegium Musicum Hong Kong, she has toured with the ensemble to perform in Beijing’s Central Conservatory Festival with the Choir of Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing. In 2010, she appeared as a soloist with Collegium Musicum Hong Kong in the education concert held by Hong Kong Arts Festival.

Mok’s major teachers include Peter Cooper (The Colorado Symphony), James Brody (Camerata Woodwind Quintet), Victor Tam (Hong Kong Wind Philharmonia), and Kwok-cheong Chan. She also studied chamber music with Yoshiyuki Ishikawa (University of Colorado Boulder) and Homer Lee (Hong Kong Philharmonic).

音樂總監及指揮：譚子輝MuSic DirectOr & cOnDuctOr: VictOr taM

香港愛樂管樂團、香港愛樂室樂管樂團、香港愛樂青年管樂團和香港愛樂少年管樂團主席兼創辦人，早年於香港演藝學院主修雙簧管，畢業後考獲香港賽馬會獎學金，前往美國奧伯連音樂學院深造，畢業時獲學院頒授雙簧管藝術大獎；隨後更被美國印第安納州立大學以全資獎學金錄取為研究生，並任助教一職。

譚氏曾分別以獨奏家、首席或客席首席雙簧管手的身份與多個知名的樂團合作，包括南韓水原市交響樂團、南韓斧山交響樂團、廣州交響樂團、越南國家交響樂團、香港小交響樂團等。他巡迴演出的地方遍及美國、英國、西班牙、奧地利、新加坡、韓國、泰國、越南等地。

譚氏現為泰國曼谷藝術大學管樂團的駐校藝術家及香港教育學院文化與創意藝術學系的榮譽駐校藝術家，他亦於香港浸會大學及其他知名學府任教。譚氏以客席指揮身分，在香港及亞洲發展其演藝事業。

Victor Tam is the Founder and Chairman of the Hong Kong Wind Philharmonia, Hong Kong Chamber Wind Philharmo-nia, Hong Kong Youth Wind Philhar-monia and the Hong Kong Junior Wind Philharmonia.

After graduating from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 1992, Victor was awarded the Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarship to study at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where he received the “Oboe Artistry Award”. He then furthered his studies at the Indiana University School of Music with a full scholarship and teaching assistantship.

Victor started his musical career as Principal Oboe of the Suwon Philhar-monic Orchestra in Korea with whom he performed until 1999. While with the Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra he has performed extensively throughout Korea and on concert tours to Thailand, England and Spain. He currently serves as orchestra and wind orchestra director at numerous schools throughout Hong Kong and under his leadership, several have achieved highest prizes in Hong Kong competitions.

Victor currently serves as an Honor-ary Artist-in-Residence in the Depart-ment of Cultural and Creative Arts at the Hong Kong Institute of Education, a faculty member of the Hong Kong Baptist University, as well as orchestra and wind band conductors at various schools in Hong Kong. He also is an Artist-in-Residence of the Silpakorn University in Thailand and has appeared as guest conductor with various ensem-bles throughout Asia.

香港愛樂室樂管樂團hOng kOng chaMber WinD philharMOnia

由音樂總監譚子輝先生領導的香港愛樂室樂管樂團至今已踏入第五個樂季，參與過許多本地及海外的演出，旨在鼓勵香港年輕木管、銅管及敲擊樂手，將音樂視為職業。

50位獲挑選為香港愛樂室樂管樂團的精英 樂手，在香港愛樂青年管樂團時已一起排練及演出，培養了良好的默契，他們希望把這種默契延續，在提升演出經驗、磨練音樂 造詣之同時，一起邁向專業演奏水平。

香港愛樂室樂管樂團曾與不少當代著名及傑出的獨奏家合作，包括占甘寶教授（單簧管）、張其初（小號）及錢國偉（敲擊）。除此之外亦極力支持本地的年輕樂手，為 世界各地觀眾帶來高質素的現場演出。

香港愛樂室樂管樂團以創新和多元化的音樂見稱，不斷演出及委約本地及國際知名作曲家的新作和改編作品。演出曲目種類包括﹕ 古典室樂、大型交響樂、傳統中樂，以至 現代西班牙音樂不等。

最近，香港愛樂室樂管樂團於2010年到訪新加坡參與當地的第二屆國際管樂節，又於2012年前往泰國舉行音樂會。

In its fifth year, the Hong Kong Chamber Wind Philharmonia has engaged in various performances both locally and internationally under the guidance of Mr. Victor Tam, the music director of the wind orchestra, with the aim of inspiring the younger generations of wind, brass and percussion players in Hong Kong to pursue music as their future careers.

The selected 50 young and talented musicians of HKCWP have known each other for years, playing and learning together in the past as members of the Hong Kong Youth Wind Philharmonia. It was their aspiration to continue working together at the highest possible profes-sional level while enriching their experi-ence and maturity.

HKCWP has collaborated with many renowned and finest soloists of our day like Professor James Campbell (Clari-net), Lertkiat Chongjirajitra (Trumpet) and Ronald Chin (Percussion), as well as supporting new local musicians, to bring its top quality live performance to audiences worldwide.

HKCWP is also recognized for its innova-tive and diverse programming policy, at the heart of which is a commitment to performing and commissioning new works or arrangements by both local and worldwide leading composers. They have performed a wide range of music including classical chamber music to symphonic music, traditional Chinese music to modern Spanish music.

Recently, HKCWP has visited Thailand (2012) for a concert tour and Singapore (2010) for the 2nd Singapore Interna-tional Band Festival.
