Brown Betty Teapots are considered to be the teapots that make the best cup of tea.

The round shape of the teapot causes the tea leaves to swirl around gently as boiling water is added, ensuring a perfect infusion.

Made from the same terracotta clay used in the 17th Century, the traditional Rockingham Brown Glaze gives the teapot it’s dark rich brown color.

Using the traditional shape but now also produced in a Cobalt Blue glaze, these “Blue Bettys” continue to produce the same perfect cup of tea while providing the consumer with a more modern color choice.
