Okayama University is one of the top research national universities in Japan. Because the theme of the summerprogram is specifically designed to match our strengths in research and education, this program will provide studentsfrom abroad with an excellent educational opportunity to work with our top faculty members who are experts in thefields of humanities, social sciences, engineering, natural science, and medicine. Participants will also be offeredJapanese language lessons as well as cultural experience in Okayama. Exchange activities with Okayama Universitystudents will also be arranged in order for participants to prepare their final presentations for the InternationalConference for the Future Generation of the World Leader 2017. Okayama University has had the special honor of being one of the few higher education institutions selected by theJapan Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) as a Super Global University. OurPresident, the faculty, and staff members have been working vigorously for promoting campus­wideinternationalization. We sincerely hope that this summer program will open a new door of partnership development between OkayamaUniversity and AUN member universities.  We are very much looking forward to welcoming students from AUN memberuniversities in Okayama this June.
