•During the different stages of my coursework I had to use a variety of different softwares and hardwares. I knew how to use most of them as I used them last year, however there were a view new softwares which I was new to, they were; QuickTime and Photoshop.

• Apple Mac & MacBook• Digital Camcorder• Digital Camera• Mobile Phones

• Imovie• Adobe Photoshop CS3• Prezi• Blogger• Windows Movie Maker• PowerPoint Presentation • Slideshare • Youtube• Microsoft Paint• iTunes• Safari • QuickTime• Microsoft Word•PhotoBooth

•During the planning stage of my coursework the softwares I used; Safari ,Prezi, Social Networking Sites, PhotoBooth, Youtube, Slideshare, Blogger and Microsoft.• Most of these softwares were used to present the research findings for example Prezi. However others were used to do research for example safari and social networking sites. • We used PhotoBooth to create a video on me and my group having a discussion on different things also a video of my focus group discussing what we should and should not include in our music video. We then uploaded these videos onto Youtube as it was easier to put it on to our Blogs. Social Net Working sites were used as part of our focus group research, we asked random people of our age of what they think should be included in our music video. We used Microsoft to present some of our work for example our digipak mood board. We also used it to layout our work like our digipak. We put our digipak together and labeled what each thing was ( back cover, front cover etc.)

•During the construction of my coursework the softwares and hardwares me and my group used; digital camcorders, digital cameras, mobile phones (iphones), Imovie, Youtube and Adobe Photoshop CS3.•I used digital camcorders and digital cameras to film our music video. I did not find it hard to use them as I had experience in using them before however I did have problems with uploading them onto the computer as it did not work on all the Macs. We uploaded the the scenes we filmed on to Imovie. Imovie is the programme we used to edit the scenes we filmed. After we finished editing the music video we uploaded the completed version on to Youtube and then uploaded it onto our Blogs. We used Photoshop when we were making our digipak and advert. This is where I uploaded everything I did.

All the planning and researching, the work I did during the construction of my video and my evaluation.

•During the evaluation of my coursework the softwares and hardwares me and my group used were; Prezi, PowerPoint presentation, Slideshare, Blogger, QuickTime and PhotoBooth. •I used different softwares to present each question for example for question 1 I used Prezi as thought it would be easier to right down and give examples to back up my points, for question 2 I used Prezi but I also included a voiceover, I decided to use a voiceover as I thought it would be easier for me to put forward my thoughts, question 3 I decided to do a video and finally for question 4 I chose to use PowerPoint presentation/ Slideshare.

•The softwares I found easy to use; Prezi, Imovie, PowerPoint presentation, PhotoBooth, safari, Blogger, Slideshare, Youtube, Microsoft Paint, iTunes and Microsoft Word. I found these softwar's easy to use as I used them last year so I was familiar with them. However there were some softwares which I found hard to use these were; Adobe Photoshop CS3, Windows Movie Maker and QuickTime. These softwares were difficult to use as I was not familiar with them, I did not use them before. I used Youtube to help me use these softwares, for example on Youtube I searched how to change the colour of the background.

I did not have any difficulties with the hardwares as I knew how to use them however we had a few problems with the Macs. We knew how to use the Macs however their were some softwares which we did not know how to use and also the camera did not work on all the Macs so we had technical problems when we wanted to upload our recordings on to the computer.
