Executive Summary

Readymix Concrete (Vietnam) Joint Stock Company (RCV) is a 100% Foreign Owned Company of the Singapore based and Australian owned Readymix Group, The primary focus of RCV is the supply of premium quality ready-mixed concrete to the construction industry,

• Internationally, the Readymix Group employs almost seven hundred people to operate 15 batch plants, two quarries and over 100 mixer trucks and cement tankers throughout South East Asia, The group has had a presence in Vietnam since 1992,• RCV was licensed on August 24, 1993 with the name Viet-Uc Readymix Concrete and commenced deliveries in January of the following year and then changed many times and finally into Readymix Concrete (Vietnam) JSC in 2008, RCV was the first foreign invested readymixedconcrete business in the North of Vietnam and has maintained itsposition as the foremost producer in the Hanoi area, This position has arisen due to four main reasons:

Readymix Concrete Vietnam JSC

• RCV is Hanoi’s market leader in concrete manufacture and supply, with a market share of 12-14%,• Established as a JV in 1993 by RHI, RCV became a 100% subsidiary of RHI, RHV and RMS in 2008,• RCV currently operates 3 well located batching plants in Hanoi market,• RCV has 33 mixer trucks and a total of 170 staff,• Our management team is entirely Vietnamese and is lead by Mr, Tran Phuong Dong, who started with the company as Sales Manager in 1994,• Our customer base comprises local and international contractors who know us for our quality products, outstanding service and competitive prices,• RCV is set to expand in 2008 by opening a 4th plant in Hanoi ring road #3, A 5th plant in Hai Phong will follow in 2009, • RCV is going to set-up a quarry business in exploration of basalt in Luong Son, Hoa Binhprovince.

We operate not only stationary batching plants but also mobile plants to meet clients’ demand on middle-size construction projects of about 10,000m3 with very quick mobilization and fast delivery.
