The story behind this project is that the designer Issey Myake is hosting his new collection” pleats please” in florence. The collection is based on straight lines, yet free and organic shapes as the per-fum.The concept is to keeo the space as it is, sto respect the idenity of the space and so the florence citzens won’t feel that they are out of the space and that the designer took away from them the feel-ing of their own space.I wanted to keep almost everything symetrical and free and keeping the brutal rustic and unfiinished atmoshere. The welocme Desk/ runway/ magic box/Lunge area are corespond-ing with each other. On the walls I have screens hanging from the ceiling to show the histroy and the story of the fashion designer. In between there are swings/ manikin, sitting area, invinting people to sit and watch the runway show, that is lighted up from the ceiling. From top till bottom there are silk material haning all around free flowing reprsenting his product. The magic box will have cloth inside that the workers of the fashion designer will dress the models with, there are also pieces of fabric in this magic box for the visiter to try on.Inside of the box there is light so it makes things magical .The funriture is made out of metal frames and glass, stools concrete as the floor.Flying dancers are at in the center of the loung area represneting and introducing the collection. There is balance between the material and the furniture object, to give stability

How it worksConcept: “Space with boundrais but no walls “ You know the assigned space with no lines or instructions, self explore, integratin theexterior with the interiroVisiters can enter from any side, as both sides are the same, they can even enter from the middle, however in-side they know the assigned space, with the use of the assigned material. So the boundrais are the materialsInspiration 1 the idea of the broken tiles glued on the wall giving this natural patterna and organic shaps. Inspiration 2 integrating the exterior with the interior, meaning that the space is open but closed at the sametimeInspiration 3 the natural shape of the structure, as if it looks like a piece of ceramicAll of this techniques I decided to get inspiration from and added in my project I decided to have 3 different types of ceramic in my space, to show the client the different between each one of.them Glass ceramic, Earthenware, Porclien. This shows the combimation from the most expensive type of ceramic to .the cheapes one Compusation: At the beginning the structure is standing there all covered white expensvive porceilin, it has thiscold effect, yet when one looks down at the floor where you walk you get to see the cheapes type of ceramic be- side the most expensove one, with this various colors. You can touch it, take a sample of itwith you bach home. However when the visiter looks up in the ceiling after looking down, he sees the mix of the ceramic glass with .porceilin Strutcure :I wanted to give this natural effect of the ceramic yet stick also with a liner symetrical , so I decided to mix both together. I started of with a U shape that keeps repeating its self but being cut from the back andfront with a chape of a C that is also given to the glass ceramic in the ceilingIt has this cold fresh atmosphere with the use of the color white, pastel and glass. The idea is that the vister does not get attracted by object, but he is actually having the experience through his eyes and through touching the material itself. I didn›t want to promote objects beacuase I want the vister to enjoy his walk and to relax without thinking or acting to much. Let the material speak about itself.

Since the construction is heavy, I would cover the structure with fom/wooden sheets to be able to glue the porcelein sheet on it

Steel structure that has a T shape to support the beam

Hinge or joint that support the connection from the top and bottom part

The roof has to be supported by a beam that connects all the part toegther, this beam could be inserted in between all the structure

This project was for a comutation that I entred where I am suppos eto reprent the EU union, the history, present and the future sitaution. I decided to devide the space into 3 areas that are connected ina way to each other. The main idea is to keep everything organic, natural and friendly usebale. I started asking around : Do you know how the future will look like ? Probably no, but it is in our hand to shape it.The concept of my project is the stones “ Pietra Fertilita “ that are surrounding the piazza. The first part “History “ with an irregular old organic natural shaped wall, made out of copper plates, on it there are the different flags of the EU.The second part “Future” with pieces removed from the copper wall and laid down on the floor with some post cards, you can move and take with you, as a memory. The third part “EuroLab” with an oriental colorful carpet with and magazines, to relax and observe the space.

This residential space is loacted outside of Florence near Fiesole, Italty. The client requested to turn his house into a restuarnta, by adding his vintage collection of photograhy, paintings and furniture, since he travesl around all the time.

I decided to devide the space into 3 parts accoriding to the 3 main artist that he was inspired by. I gave him t2 options, either having the images spoeakin about themslves so the interior itself would be all quite and clean, or the other way around, make the funriture speak out loud and the images would be then neutral.

The resutaunt can seat around 26 people and there is an outside lounge that is visa-ble in the CAD drawings and sections
