    Ang pambansang teritoryo ay binubuo ngkapuluang Pilipinas, kasama ang lahat ng pulo atkaragatan na nakapaloob doon, at lahat ng iba pangteritoryo na ari ng Pilipinas sa pamamagitan ng

    karapatang kinikilala sa kasaysayan o sa batas, kasamaang dagat teritoryal, ang kalawakang itaas, angkailaliman ng lupa, ang ilalim ng dagat, ang mgakalapagang insular, at ang iba pang lugar submarinana nasa ganap na kapangyarihan o saklaw ng Pilipinas.

    Ang karagatang nakapaligid, nakapagitan, at nag-uugnay sa mga pulo ng kapuluan, maging ano manang lawak at sukat, ay bumubuo ng panloob nakaragatan ng Pilipinas.

    (2) Territorial Sea.- it is the belt of water outside and parallel to the outerlimits of the inland/internal waters.

    The inland or internal water and the territorial seatogether comprise what is generally known as theterritorial waters of a state. Over these waters, a state

    exercise as its land territory but foreign vessels have theright of innocent passage through the territorial sea.

    On the other hand, the open seas are international waters

    which means that they are not subject to the sovereigntyof ant state but every state has equal right to use them.

    The archipelagic concept or principle of territoriality:The Philippines is a state composed of a number of

    islands.

    The archipelago shall be considered a single unit so thatthe waters around, between, and the islands of the

    archipelago irrespective of their breadth & dimensionform part of the internal waters of the state subject.
