La boîte à outils était cadenassée et j’avais besoin du marteau pour réparer l’ascenseur en panne de cœur.
Sally n’était pas mauvaise dans son pantalon et sa poitrine se gonflait fière et sincère.
Allan la regardait du haut de la tour d’ivoire mais elle ne l’a pas vu.
Et le cyclope pleurait. Il tira un mouchoir de la boîte et le déchira en deux ; il n’avait plus besoin de rien d’autre.

Trois poulesun chienle dalmatien sur le litdortet ton dos découvertcaressé par les plumesévadées de l’oreiller.

The tool box was locked and I needed a hammer to fix the heart-broken lift.
Sally wasn’t bad in her trousers and her breast lifted up proud and sincere.
Allan was watching her from the top of the ivory tower but she didn’t see him.
And the Cyclops was crying. He took a tissue from the box and tore it in halves; he needed nothing more.

The bomb explodedshadedwarm colorsbloodstill flows.

Walter Ruhlmann est né en 1974 en France. Il vit actuellement à Mamoudzou, Mayotte,
où il enseigne l'anglais. Il publie mgversion2>datura (ex-Mauvaise graine) depuis quinze
ans. Walter est l'auteur de plusieurs recueils de poésie en français et a publié des
poèmes dans de nombreuses revues papier ou électroniques en France et à l'étranger. Il
a co-édité et traduit des poèmes pour le numéro anniversaire bilingue de Magnapoets en
Janvier 2011.
Rex et le cyclope a été publié en 1996 comme un supplément à la revue Mauvaise
graine.
Walter Ruhlmann was born in 1974 in France. He currently lives in Mamoudzou,
Mayotte where he works as an English teacher. He has been publishing
mgversion2>datura (ex-Mauvaise graine) for fifteen years. Walter is the author of several
poetry chapbooks in French and has published poems in various printed and electronic
publications world wide. He co-edited and translated poems for the bilingual free verse
and form section for the anniversary issue of Magnapoets in January 2011.
Rex & the Cyclops was first published as a supplement to issue 7 of the February 1997
issue of Mauvaise graine.
