IPR Cell ( IIT Kharagpur): The IPR Chair has
been established by MHRD, Government of
India. IPR Chair encourages faculties and
students of the Institute to innovate, protect
and commercialize their invention/creation.
RGSOIPL: IIT Kharagpur has taken a lead
role in instituting technology law education.
For this purpose a full fledged law school,
started functioning from the academic year
2006. The School presently runs: Six-
Semester, Three-Year Full-Time residential
LL.B. Programme leading to the Degree of
Bachelor of Law with Honors in Intellectual
Property Law, duly recognized the Bar
Council of India. The School also runs
doctoral programme.
