The Lancer Express travels around theTown of Farmville in a more or lesscounter-clockwise direction starting atthe Courthouse on South Street, passingthrough downtown, Longwood University,the shopping centers, the motels at thesouth end of town, back again.A round trip takes about one-half anhour. Scheduled stops are shown in theboxes on the map at right. Arrival times atother stops can be computed by adding afew minutes to the schedule at the timedstop before yours.The fare anywhere on the systemis 25¢. Longwood students ride free withan ID card.The last round trip Monday-Thursdaybegins at the Courthouse on South Streetat 7:30 p.m. and ends at the same locationat 11:00 p.m. Shaded areas in the schedulesshow service available on Friday andSaturday only.Riding the Farmville Area Bus is fun,friendly, and easy.
