Good evening and welcome to Clark Gym or tonight’s Empire 8 contest betweenthe Nazareth Golden Flyers and your RI igers. It is RI ’s nal regular season homegame. igers Head Coach Bob McVean needs one win to reach 400 at RI .

Te igers had an eight game home winning streak snapped on Sunday in an80-72 loss to Hartwick. Mark Carson, playing on his senior day, had 17 points and 15rebounds or his 20th double-double o the season. He also blocked our shots. ShawnRoe had 13 points on 3-o -4 shooting rom beyond the arc, all in the second hal .Adam Sweet and Marcus Lowe contributed 12 points apiece.

Carson is currently tied or rst in all o college basketball with 14.2 rebounds pergame. He is playing in his 100th career collegiate gome tonight.

Nazareth looks to bounce back afer Friday’s 92-86 loss to Utica halted their sixgame winning streak. Corey McAdam had 28 points. Freshman Jason Corletta added20 points and 8 boards. McAdam ranks ourth nationally in assists per game (7.8).

RI needed overtime to upend Nazareth 94-81 in their previous E8 meeting thisseason. Nazareth de eated RI 87-73 in the opening round o the J.P. Morgan ChaseScholarship ournament on Jan. 14. Te Golden Flyers swept their three meetings lastseason, but RI leads the all-time series 32-24.

afer losing to then-#1 Elmira, and nished with a a two-game sweep against SUNYPotsdam. Sandra Grant led RI to their rst shutout win 6-0 over Potsdam on Fri-day, helped by a pair o goals each rom Erica Owczarczak and Megan Kobar, whoscored her rst collegiate goal in the rst period. On Saturday, Ali Hill’s two goalssprung the igers to a 4-1 victory. Senior captain Keltie Jones enjoyed a tremendousweekend series with a goal and our assists.

Hamilton enters tonight’s game resh o a 4-2 win over Williams on Sunday.Sophomore Stephanie Miguel had a hand in all our Continentals goals, netting oneo her own and assisting on the other three. Miguel leads the team in points and

assists, having scored a point in each o the Continentals’ ve games.Both teams ace daunting schedules ahead, with RI to play their next ve away rom home, including back-to-back games at Division-I Scared Heart. Hamilton
