Learning Outcomes: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:1) Talk about the pets they like.2) Identified animals that can or cannot be keep as pets.3) Draw their pets using their creativity

Assessment: Based on the pupils response on the stimulus given.

1. Teacher enters the class and asks the pupils whether they have pet or not.

2. The teacher asks the pupils the meaning of pet.

3. Teacher then show picture cards of pets and play the sound according to the animal

Pre-listening(25 minutes)Input

1. The teacher then shows the same picture cards of animals.

2. The teacher asks the students to say aloud the animals shown and asks the characteristics of each animal and where do they live.

3. Teacher then add another picture card to show where the animals should be.

4. The teacher asks the students to open their textbook to page 41.

5. The teacher asks the students to name the animals in the picture and asks questions from the textbook and students need to answer them.

6. The teacher asks the students to name other animals they can or cannot keep as a pet and why.Expected answers:1.Fish lives in water/aquarium2.Cat - lives inside the house3.Bird live inside the cage4.Horse in the barn.5.Duck - in the pond

1. The teacher distributes students A4 papers.

2. The teacher asks the students to draw picture of their dream pets using their own creativity.

1. The teacher asks students to show their drawings to the teacher and their friend and talk about the picture and pet that they have drawn. (Why they want to keep them as pet.

Example:This is my pet. It is very cute and fluffy.

Closure( 10 Minutes)

1. The teacher concludes todays lesson.

2. The teacher asks them to bring their drawings home and colour them as their homework.
