February 25, 2018 2nd Sunday of Lent BISHOP’S MINISTRY APPEAL (BMA) If you missed your opportunity to support the Bishop’s Ministry Appeal, it is not too late. All of us share in the responsibility of sharing with others a portion of God’s blessing. Please make your pledge to the BMA today. Pledge envelopes can be found in the pews. Please help us to meet our goal of $42,099. Checks should be made payable to the BISHOP'S MINISTRY APPEAL TRUST. Thank you for your prayerful consideration. JOIN US—MERCY IN ACTION Next Meeting Monday, 2/26 at 4:30 pm in the Conference Room-Blessed are the merciful for they shall be shown mercy.-Matt 5:7 You are invited to come help us carry out our call to fulfill spiritual and corporal works of mercy. If you have a mission on your heart we as a team will help you complete it. Our past activities have been visiting ill and home bound members of our parish, praying the rosary, offering items and eating meals with migrant farm workers, planning special masses like Anointing of the Sick and All Souls Day, writing sympathy cards to families in our parish who have lost loved ones etc.. We just recently visited 35 wards at CYA and fed them a taco lunch. We are currently in the process of planning the Dynamic Catholic Event here at our parish and our needing donations for snacks that day. Thank You for saying "Yes!" Please call Lisa at 209 404-5472. Please help make Easter beautiful! The Altar Society is currently asking for donations to help purchase Easter Lilies. If money is donated in memory or in honor of a loved one, please write a notation on the envelope provided in the church entries. Please put the envelope in the collection basket or drop off at the church office. Thank you for your generosity. THE MEN OF ST. PATRICK’S All “Men of St. Patrick’s” are invited to meet on Tuesday, February 27th at 6:15PM in the Lady Chapel to pray the Rosary for all priests especially Fr. Raj Gudimalla. The regular social, dinner, Fr. Raj’s presentation, and the meeting will follow in the hall. 40 DAYS FOR LIFE We are gearing up for our Spring 40 Days for Life Campaign, which will begin on Thursday, February 15, 2018 and go through Thursday, March 15, 2018. 40 Days for Life is a peaceful vigil which emphasizes prayer, fasting and community outreach. It saves the lives of innocent babies, families, and will bring us closer to God. Please join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays in front of 2030 Coffee Road, Modesto (where the abortions take place) from 7:00AM-6:00PM.
