  T STUDY OF HEAD P!AIN AND ONTRAST

Posterior Fossa

• Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.

• Large hypodense area is seen in superior cerebellar parenchyma on left side. No

contrast enhancement is seen . Brain stem appears to be normal.

Supratentorial 

• Large hypodense area is seen in left occipital and thalamic region .No evidence of 

fresh bleed is seen.

• Basal cisterns are seen normally.

•Third and both lateral ventricles are normal .

•  No midline shift is seen.

• Right maxillary sinus shows polypoid lesion .

OPINION:

!EFT SUPERIOR EREBE!!AR INFART.

!EFT P..A TERRITORY INFART.
