• Psalms 32:1-2 – Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit.

• Psalms 85: 2 – You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins.

• Isaiah 44:22 – I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.

• Psalm 103: 10-13 – He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.

• 1 John 1: 9 – If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

• 2 Peter 3: 9 – The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

• It is not prayer to one god out of many, worship of one god out of many, or highest deference to one god out of many or three.

The Bible is clear: There is only one GodIsaiah 43:10 – You are my witnesses, declares the Lord, and y servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am He. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.Mark 12:29 - …Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.James 2:19 – You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that – and shudder.

The Son as God• John 1:1 – In the beginning was the Word, and the

Word was with God, and the Word was God.• John 1:18 – No one has ever seen God, but God the

One and Only, who is at the Father’s side, has made him known.

• John 20:28 – Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

• 1 John 5:20 – We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true – even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
