清盛世粉彩及琺瑯彩官瓷燒造工藝至雍正朝已臻完美。至乾隆年間，以開光山水人物花鳥為主題圖案的精美官瓷更是琳瑯滿目、蔚為奇觀。此瓜棱形象耳尊堪稱乾隆官瓷琺瑯彩工藝集大成者。它不僅造型新穎典雅，通體施以清純冬青釉彩，且於尊體四面開光，以瑰麗的琺瑯彩繪以遠山近樹和人物屋宇，從而使絕妙的中國傳統山水畫藝術與精湛的官瓷燒造工藝融為一體，妙趣天成。

在器型與燒造工藝方面，此尊與Sotheby's 2007年3月20日曾拍出的一隻粉彩冬青地開光花卉象耳尊可加以類比。（參看：《骨董拍賣年鑑》-2007 Chinese Art Auction Records ）。

此罐口直、鼓腹。通體繪以礬紅及深紅浪濤紋飾，並有十匹活潑生動的青花神獸逐戲其間。其下為纏枝如意花卉紋帶。罐內壁及底繪有青花纏枝花卉和寶相蓮紋，內口繪赤橙黄綠藍五彩蕉葉紋。宣德五彩瓷器燒製甚少。繪有青花神獸逐浪紋和內繪青花花卉紋有如此罐者極可能屬存世之絕無僅有，故當以神品寶之。

盤通體施略呈藍暈之白釉。盤面中央處繪有束帶蓮花葉紋。盤邊飾以纏枝花卉；折沿上為卷草紋。盤壁厚重，盤底有二圈形底足，底中央亦繪有一把小蓮並束以飛舞飄帶。二足圈之間和盤內外璧皆飾纏枝花卉纹。

此盤造型大氣磅礴，青花顏色瑰麗，構圖嚴謹，畫工精美有加，不失為明永樂朝青花瓷重器。

唐之前，陶瓷釉彩多為單色，且缺少光澤。至東晉和南北朝時期工藝雖有所提高，但釉彩方面如越窯瓷器的製作仍顯暗淡，且偏愛墨綠色釉。至唐代三彩釉色的出現改變了陶瓷製作的歷史及審美理念，由此而極大影響了後世的製瓷工藝，使中唐、五代、宋元明清的陶瓷釉色絢麗五彩，推陳出新。此鎮墓獸除施唐三彩特有的鮮明的色彩之外，還以網狀的纏枝花卉銀鎏金及珠寶覆蓋金身，進而更顯其威嚴之勢和凌勵表情，令妖魔鬼怪和盗墓者不敢越雷池一步。

盤面繪以清雅的牡丹梅花纹飾。大紅牡丹或怒放、或半開，其中一朵伴有小小花蕾並為綠葉交相映襯。紅白兩色梅花疏落有致地分佈於左右，枝桿相接處間飾一朵五彩靈枝，妙然成趣。梅花枝桿延伸過盤邊而至外壁，其上亦有牡丹與花蕾幽然綻放。此盤構圖清新不俗、畫工精卷，成為清雍正官瓷绝妙之作。

田黃石在遼宋金三朝作為璽印用料已颇為普遍，它基於質地如玉、顏色如金並且容易雕刻的特徵而為時人採用，但大多用作宮廷璽印及官印。至明代，文人墨客如文彭之輩自製田黃印章傲視同儕。清初，田黃從宮庭走向民間，被世人視為治印首選材料；一時身價百倍，貴於黃金。故而，民間常有“一寸田黃一寸金”之說。

此田黃巨印重量為400兩(约25英磅)，是迄今存世已知之最大田黃璽印。其印文為“水至清則無魚，人至察則無徒”，是《漢書。東方朔傳》中之膾人口名言。璽上款云：“乾隆八年冬潘西鳳篆”。可惜巨印如今角上有傷，可能為前人不慎所致。

巨印四面和頂部飾通景浮雕人物山水及亭臺樓閣，雕工精绝、氣勢如虹，為乾隆朝雕刻大家潘西鳳之力作，印料顏色呈栗子之黃，且有蘿蔔絲紋遍布印身，觀之有如澄玉，堪稱田黃璽類巨擎級稀世之珍。

此套佛指舍利鎏金七重寶函與1987年法門寺地宮中室出土的八重銀鎏金及純金影骨寶函在型製方面有頗多相類之處。所不同者，這一系列並無法門寺八重寶函的第一重檀香木匣。它的第五、六重函於蓋頂函身四面飾以浮雕寶蓮，而法門寺八重寶函系列的第六及第七重函則分別以珍珠寶石鑲嵌，或以碔夫石點綴並雕琢而成。

與法門寺八重寶函的第二重函一樣，本系列的第一重函身四面分別浮雕以四大天王及天兵天將圖像；盝頂函蓋上飾以雙龍戲珠雕紋，環之以神獸和飛天。

本系列的第三重亦為如來說法盝頂寶函，其函身及函頂飾以多座蓮花寶座浮雕佛像。第四重函為六臂如意輪觀音寶函，函蓋及蓋側有浮雕雙鳳和飛翔的瑞鳥。函身則雕有數幅聖賢大德佛說法圖；正面為六臂如意輪觀音及八大侍從造像。

第七重的寶珠頂單檐四門塔型函與法門寺系列的第八重塔函型製相似，塔座上有一根小柱，專供套置佛指舍利之用。此塔函雖非純金打造，其工藝之精美卻不在法門寺塔函之下。

根據歷史記載，從唐高祖至唐哀帝的二百九十年間，唐代皇室曾七次打開法門寺地宮並六次迎佛骨至長安和洛陽供養，以求五谷豐登、天下太平。

唐太宗貞觀五年迎佛骨入宮供養，亦有法門寺地宮三十年開放一次的記載。初唐伊始，唐代皇室對法門寺佛骨的供養便達到了登峰造極的境地。歷代唐皇不僅窮天下奇珍供奉法門寺佛指舍利，對于置放佛骨的寶函也不計工本地格外精心打造，極盡奢華之能事。

與法門寺出土的八重舍利寶函相比較，此套七重銅鎏金函的製作應大致在早唐至盛唐之前，代表了當時特定時期的金銀器工藝水準。此套寶函用料雖不及盛唐金銀器那樣昂貴，紋飾教之略顯粗樸，然而就其舉足輕重的歷史及考古價值而言，則堪稱為唐代金銀類館藏重器。
