SRH3500 Hand-held:

The SRH3500 hand-helds are the smallest, lightest, rgged

hand-held radios available in the market today. Designed

and bilt to meet IEC529 Ip54 standards, they withstand

day to day se in some o the harshest environments in

the blic saety, military, transort, and tilities markets.

The SRH3500 hand-helds oer a large viewable dislay

area o 6 lines o 24 characters. The greyscale screen can

dislay 16 shades o grey. These shades give a resoltion

that will allow the ser to dislay mas and hotograhs.

The SRH3500 range, like all Sera hand-helds, has a niqe

eatre: all text can be dislayed in large ormat (doble

normal size) to give better legibility, whether body worn or

in a car kit.

The battery ftting is both secre and robst and at the

same time straightorward so that sers can change the

battery with one hand withot needing to look at the radio.

To allow sers to contine immediately with their oerations,

the hand-helds retrn to their revios state ater the battery

change withot the need to enter a start- rotine.

The user Interace (uI) o the SRH3500 range is common

to the Sera rodct ortolio, ths redcing training

reqirements. It has been secifcally designed or TETRA

and enables the ser to qickly access the eatres o

the radio.

Alications can send and receive inormation sing

acket data rom data terminals sch as a pDA

connected to the radio. A lockable pEI connector is

located at the bottom o the radio to rovide a secre

and reliable connection.

The SRH3500 range has been bilt to address secrity by

inclding a tamer roo secrity rocessor and a smart

card connector. E2E encrytion can be imlemented by a

sotware grade.

The SRH3500 sGpS incororates a highly sensitive award

winning GpS receiver caable o rocessing extremely

low strength GpS signals. This means that ‘clear sight osky’ signals rom GpS satellites are no longer essential and

the GpS receiver is able to rovide accrate ositioning

even in some bildings. In addition to the standard

osition reorting, the hand-held can send its crrent GpS

location when the Emergency Call or Lone Worker alert is

initiated. Ensring that the osition o a ser is known will

enable aroriate resorces to be switly deloyed when

assistance is reqired.
