Membrane dryers lower the temperature at which condensation isormed by bringing down the dew point temperature o the inlet air.Their perormance is measured by Pressure Dew Point Suppression,PDPS.For example,i inlet air is 35C (95F) and 100% saturated,theinlet dew point is also 35C.An Atlas Copco SD dryer o the P rangewill lower the dew point by 32C,so the outlet pressure dew pointwill be 3C.Thereore the PDPS is 32C.
