Sesame H/V software: main processing module HVPROC

The main processing module performs the basics analses de!oted to the estimation of H/V ratio"

The principal steps e#ecuted b the code are the following:

$" Reading of input time histories

    %" Offset remo!al

&" 'or each selected time window inside time histories

    a" Tapering

    b" ''T

    c" Smoothing of 'ourier spectra

    d" (erging of hori)ontal components

    e" H/V ratio

f" Optional output of single window H/V and spectra

*" Optional output of a!erage spectra

+" ,!erage of H/V-" Computation of '.according to P.% scheme

    0" 1eneral output

The code is automaticall in!o2ed inside the 34S5S,(5 pac2age but it can also be run as a

command line call in the following wa :

    Hvproc0_1 winfile parfile outfile

winfile is the file which lists the time window to be analsed

parfilecontains the parameters for the processing

outfile is the name of the general output file

    winfile

This file lists the selected windows used for the processing" Such windows ma automaticall be

    chosen b the 6window selection7 module"

The winfile structure is as follows:

The S5S,(5 ,SC?? file is organi)ed in &4columns that correspond to & output channels of a
