4 WHAt Is neW WItH tHe RoX?

k The new power formula from SIGMA calculates the cyclist’s power in the number of watts required to move the bike rather than the power asserted on the pedals. The watts are calculated using: Bike type and position, bike and athlete weight, athlete height, shoulder width, speed, incline and cadence.

k The power calculation can be affected by external forces such as the ground conditions or wind. These factors are reduced during mountain ascents and considered in the calculation. A power value is only displayed when pedaling.

k The DATA CEnTEr can be used to convert all recorded loGs into GHoST rACES. These are based on distances that have been previously recorded.

k once a GHoST rACE has been created in the DATA CEnTEr and transferred to the roX, the function view changes and displays the total race distance. The race can begin.

k During the trip, the roX 9.1 shows whether the cyclist is ahead of or behind the “GHoST”. The race ends when the rider (or ghost) crosses the finish line

Knowing the expansion makes it possible to detect duplicate gear ratio. The expansion value can only change when a gear change occurs.

loG a ride with the roX 9.1 and then use the data to create a GHoST rACE. This unique function enables riders to compare their own performance in real time.

The expansion acts as an indicator to inform road and mountain bike users whether they are cycling with more or less force. The greater the expansion, the harder the gear being used. For example, a high expansion + a low cadence (60-70 rpm) = strength-focused cycling/strength perseverance training.
