• Level crossing

− RBC zendt MA met ‘level crossing restriction’

− TMS zendt JIT opdracht naar LX − LX sluit en meldt dat aan IXL − RBC verwijdert ‘level crossing restriction’ − Trein kan op snelheid doorijden

• Consequentie:

− relatief lange dichtligtijden (vergeleken met NL)

− maar wel zo kort mogelijk

TMS: SIL allocatie

• TMS is SIL0 systeem

• Hoe kan een Signal operator een werkzone activeren op veilige wijze, vanaf een SIL0 systeem?

− M.b.v. Double Command Entry − Signal operator geeft 1e opdracht in. − IXL vraagt om bevestiging − Signal operator geeft 2e opdracht in (qua inhoud identiek aan 1e opdracht). − IXL controleert op inhoud en timing.

• ‘Functional independence’ van 1e opdracht en 2e opdracht vormt basis van bewijsvoering dat een SIL0 systeem (dat aan bepaalde veiligheidseisen voldoet) volstaat.

• Principe is toegepast op BetuweRoute en Hanzelijn
