TECHNICAL CONSTRUCTION DETAILSAll our furniture is built and assembled using old woodworking techniques. These are adapted to the various characteristics of the different types of furniture so that problems do not form over time. As solid wood is a natural element, it is subject to movements due to changes in temperature. However, in this connection, we recommend that you do not expose the furniture to direct sources of heat. As described above, the inlaid parts of our products are made entirely by hand by craftsmen who still use the techniques of times past. As a result, these inlays, with their small imperfections typical of hand-made products, create a high quality piece of furniture. PAINT AND FINISHESThe colour shades of the furniture are chosen carefully and selected by combining the designers’ tastes with the period and style of the furniture. Our technicians and workers’ knowledge of painting mixed with these invaluable considerations helps to bring out the best in our furniture. The furniture is coloured using water-based paint, followed by special paints to protect the layer. The final polishing stage is done using a shellacked finish, followed by beeswax applied and polished using woollen cloths.

HANDLES - KEYS - LOCKS AND SUNDRY ACCESSORIESAll the furniture accessories are in brass or other alloys derived from this metal. They are processed and forged following the oldest traditions for casting noble metals. Each handle is decorated with inset crystals.
