For more than 25 years Rivermeade has been involved in the design, manufacture and installation of signs forhotels throughout Europe and the Middle East. We work with many of the leading hotel groups and many firmsof specialist architects and interior designers.

We believe that the close relationship between theconsultancy and manufacturing sides of our businessbenefits our consultancy clients.

It enables us to stay firmly grounded in manufacturingreality – we will not propose sign designs that cannotbe made – and it also allows us to monitor costs andbudget projections as a continuing part of the designprocess.

Généralités

1. Les langues utilisées seront l'arabe et le français. En ce qui concerne les enseignes, panneaux et affichages au format vertical, l'arabe sera en haut tandis qu'au format horizontal l'arabe sera sur la droite.

2. Type de caractères : « Adobe Arab Regular ». Composition arabe, Adobe français.

3. Il incombe à la société en charge des enseignes, panneaux et affichages d'organiser la traduction et la composition du programme et calendrier de l'anglais vers l'arabe et le français et de préparer un jeu complet de schémas de tous les panneaux et affichages pour approbation avant leur fabrication.

4. Les tailles finales des enseignes, panneaux et affichages seront déterminées par la société en charge des enseignes une fois la traduction et la composition terminées. La hauteur des lettres est indiquée sur les schémas des différentes enseignes.

5. Lorsque cela est indiqué, les textes et plans finaux seront confirmés une fois la stratégie opérationnelle terminée.

6. D'autres matériaux et méthodes de fabrication seront pris en considération. Les échantillons doivent être soumis et approuvés avant la fabrication.

Enseigne Type A

Enseignes murales fabriquées à partir de laiton CW612N (CZ120) BS EN 1652:1998 au grain horizontal d'une épaisseur de 3 mm. Le panneau doit avoir une coupe carrée et les rebords doivent subir une finition à l'abrasif 240, pour retirer les rebords coupants. Doit être gravée chimiquement à une profondeur comprise entre 1 et 1,3 mm puis dotée d'un élément de remplissage correspondant à Gold PMS 873 (Akzo Nobel, division Cromadex – série 600 paquet de 2 peinture polyuréthanne finition coquille d'œuf ou alternative appropriée). Panneau couleur bronze (à l'aide d'une solution de teinture Armatone CNG/F d'Armack, société britannique, ou bien alternative appropriée), avec couche de laque Akzo Nobel, division Cromadex, série 600 paquet de 2 laques polyuréthanne coquille d'œuf claire ou alternative appropriée. Panneaux frontaux devant être dotés sur le verso d'un adhésif 4664 noir à revêtement double 3M pour l'application sur le panneau de support. Fourniture avec panneau de support FPVC noir d'une épaisseur de 5 mm sous-dimensionné de 10 mm partout. Panneau de support à forer et fraiser pour fixation par vis et verso doté d'un adhésif 4664 à revêtement double 3M. Panneau de support fixé à l'aide de vis inox M4 x 40 mm et adhésif 3M 4664 à double face.

• plot each sign location on a plan• create a first draft database schedule

of all signs to contain texts, sizes and sign types

• prepare preliminary fabrication and installation costs

Stage 4 Schematic design

• select key sign types and explore design alternatives - typography, colour, materials and content

• investigate alternatives to content and visual vocabulary

• agree design direction

Stage 5 Design development

• develop the approved schematic design to resolve details of typography, colour, materials and fixings

• finalise designs for each sign type and get client approval

• liaise with architect, contractor and specialist sub-contractors

• revise fabrication and installation budget

Stage 6 Construction documentation

• prepare design intent drawings for all sign types• create final sign layouts, elevations and fabrication

details• prepare specification to describe design intent

standards• complete final sign location plans and schedule

Staged approach - implementation

Stage 7 Bid support

• prepare a shortlist of possible fabricators• hold pre-bid meeting or conference call to discuss

design intent documentation and answer questions• assist client with the evaluation of the bids

Stage 8 Construction administration

• hold pre-construction meeting to clarify the design intent drawings

• visit fabricators workshop to review samples, materials and workmanship

• provide supervisory assistance on site during installation

• provide a snagging list and sign off when snaggingcompleted

Deliverables

Deliverables include:

• plans showing proposed sign locations and types• database generated shedule to contain text, sizes,

quantities and written manufacturing specification of each sign type

• layout drawings• constructional drawings
