    Fungicidal Wall Paint for Wet Areas

    ProductDescription

    Fungicidal, colour, one-pack emulsion paint.

    Uses For painting concrete and rendering, especially in places sensitive to fungal attack,e.g. rooms in waterworks, breweries, wine cellars and textile factories.

    Advantages Fungicidal.Good adhesion in damp conditions.Condensation resistant.

    Resistance Sikagard-676W is waterproof and weatherproof; also resistant to dilute acids and

    alkalis, chemically aggressive environments, animal and vegetable oils and fats.Not resistant to concentrated acids, alkalis and hot water.

    The requirement may be considerably higher for rough-textured rendering orconcrete. Do not apply inside water reservoirs.

    Condition of Substrate Free from dust, with sufficient strength and key, stripped of residual paint.Substrate Preparation Do not apply Sikagard

    -676W to concrete or rendering younger than 28 days. Any

    concrete or cementitious rendering must be cured and air-dry (this usually takesmax. 4 weeks.) non-hydraulic lime plaster must be fully cured prior to painting (thiscan take up to half a year).

    Abrade old, tightly adhering coatis, e.g. oil paints, and prime with thinnedSikagard-676W.

    Roughen smooth coats of oil paint, e.g. on timber, by prior washing with ammoniumchloride solution or by abrading.

    Efficient ventilation provided.Final Drying Time The coat may seem to be properly dry if no paint comes off, when rubbed with a wet

    finger. The dry coat should cure for at least another two days prior to exposure towater; ensure adequate level of air exchange, particularly in deep locations.

    Safety Instruct ionsEcology Remnants of the not fully cured product must be disposed of according to law. Fully

    cured material can be disposed of as household waste according to localregulations.

    Safety Precautions The provisions or the dangerous goods regulations must be observed.During application observe hints on labels as well as local regulations.In a liquid state the product contaminates water and should not get into drains,
