What: AA 3rd Annual Anniversary Luncheon When: MONDAY, AUGUST 12, 2019 , 8:00am—2:00pm. Where: Visiting The Anniversary Luncheon Fund-raiser is held in an effort to recognize AA Members years of sobriety. AA members have different dates when they became sober so in a sense we will be celebrating the birthdays of when each member took the step to be sober. Those members who attend will be presented with a certificate of accomplish- ment with their number of years being sober. Do not sign up if you are not on the AA/NA roster. Must be a member for at least 6 months or more. AA members who plan on attending will be served a fried chicken, scallop potato and garden salad with dinner roll meal at a cost of $5.65 and will need to pay $5.65 for each guest who attends. AA members are allowed 4 guests who are already on their approved visiting list. A photographer will be at the event so please bring your photo tickets if you plan to take a photo. There will be volunteer guest speakers for this event. The first 55 AA members will have the option of attending. Please send a CD28 form signed and verified with an inmate commu- nication form to Mr. G. Gross, Activities box #339. Please also make sure the form is completely filled out and signed by you and stamped by your officer. CD28's must have the correct amount and account #2476 on them for proper processing. All requests to attend must be received on or before Monday, July 22, 2019. Place completed forms in the Activities Box #339 in your complex. SRCI is holding a Summer Night Jamboree on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. This free event will be a concert and game night for Incentive Level 2 and 3 inmates in Complex 1. The band performing will play ‘90s metal and rock music. Band mem- bers include Jason Brown, Darren Pollock, Jonathan Bouton, & Rus- sell Stoeckert. Ping-pong and table games such as chess, dominoes, and card games will be set-up. Nintendo Wii stations playing various games such as Madden NFL, Soul Calibur 2, Guitar Hero III, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, etc., will also be set-up in the band room and cardio room. Attending the event is free but there are only 125 available slots available. You do have the option of buying caramel popcorn for $1.50 a bag, buttered popcorn for $1.00 a bag, or soda for $1.85 a bottle. The limit for popcorn is 2 bags and the limit for sodas is 2 as well. The Snake River Correctional Institution will be undergoing an audit for compliance with the United States Department of Justice’s National Standards to Prevent, Detect, and Respond to Prison Rape under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) for adult prison during the following period, (August 25-) – (August 30), (2019). • Allegations of suspected of child abuse, neglect or maltreatment;

Loss of Privileges will be lifted as follows for the state observed Holiday – Independence Day/4th of July starting at 8:00 am on Thursday, July 4, 2019 and ending at 10:00 pm on that same day. Level 1 no lifting of holiday LOP Privileges restricted by an Inmate Management Plan issued by the Security Threat Management Unit are not lifted during Holiday periods. These restrictions remain in effect and are enforced until the date specified on the Inmate Management Plan. This does not restrict normal operations and progressive discipline, such as cell-ins or transfer to segregation for poor behavior that may be seen as a threat to others and/or the safety and security of the institution.
