from 15 to 320.
In just one year, from 2013 to 2014 when retail marijuana
businesses began operating, there was a 55 percent increase in
Colorado marijuana packages seized in the mail.
From 2010 2014, the total pounds of marijuana seized
from U.S. packages mailed from Colorado has increased 722 percent
from 57 to 470 pounds.
Between 2010 and 2014, the number of states destined to
receive marijuana mailed from Colorado has increased each year
from 10 to 38.
From 2006 2008, compared to 2013 2014, the
average number of parcels containingColorado marijuana seized that
were destined outside the United States increased over 7,750
percent and the pounds of marijuana seized in those parcels
increased over 1,079 percent.
